i see they made the kick pedal stick this time. they learn from their mistakes. but what a stupid design mistake that was! i always finish playing a song with legs spread wide apart. so i tie the bloody pedal to the chair. but also doesn't work, coz the pedal start to turn around the chair!, which is a more painful position then spreading my legs. so i now play with a game cover between the pedal and the drum frame.

i'm usually the first in line when come to band games. but i am now outstation, and didn't bring my bulky instruments with me. but i would grab it as soon as i get back. meanshile ceritalah how good/bad it is. i heard lego rock band is a real let down. no online, no dlc, apa ni? and rock band harmonix as a whole seems like loosing steam. rock band 3 a few years time....apa ni?

QUOTE(donpapachino @ Dec 6 2009, 02:44 PM) just come back from summit usj, a simple 2 piece usb mic is ~rm100. is probably the same as mine. for those buying a 2 piece mic of this kind, the splitter given is not a usb splitter, but a karoake jack splitter. what this means is that although u bought a 2 piece mic, the game only recognize it as one mic. 2 people can still sing together, but system thinks u are singing in one mic only. so to me is like buying one mic. so, jangan terpedaya of these 100rm 2 piece mics. look at the splitter given to know if it is really 2 mics, and not 2 half mics. yeah, that's the one i have too. is not a bad thing coz for its price u getting a good value compared with other single usb mics out there. coz if u buy a single usb mic it usually cost around rm100 anyway. just that i find the 2nd mic useless. so instead of selling me a pair for rm100, i wish they would just sell me one for rm50.

if u have the wii, i would go for guitar hero drums. coz, gh drums are compatible with more rockband games then rockband drums are compaitble with gh games. i hope that sentence didin't confuse u. unless u are so fanboyish with rockband and thinks gh is crap, then go for rockband drums. look at the compability matrix below. the wii is a mess when comes to instrument compability with rb/gh games. http://cdn.guitarhero.com/ghhub/GHWT_compatibility.pdfas for the game, which is better? well, its personal preference coz some say they buy the game for the songs. but say the songs is not a deciding factor, i would still go for gh if u own the wii. rockband has a larger DLC library, vs GH has a larger game disc library (they have more game releases). but wii has a problem with DLCs, u don't really own them, coz they stick to your console and its inseperable. meaning if u change console, or your console rosak one day, your DLC goes down with it. For GH where most of their songs are on disc, if your console rosak. u still have your songs. This post has been edited by ramz: Feb 2 2010, 05:18 PM

yeap, just a note, gh drums is optimized for gh games. although u can still play rockband games (and still have fun). but if u are a realism freak, u should note that rockband drum has 1 less pad then gh. this means u won't be hitting the gh orange drum pad in rockband. and sometimes rockband map the snare (google it if u not a drummer) to the yellow pad, when realisticly it should be red pad. its still fun if u don't care about realism. but an experience drummer would be pissed.

what the...no drums? man u dono what u missing. but i guess is personal preference at the end, so is ok. but the drums man....its something else. the guitar is fun, but u can't really impress people (hey, we all live to impress). u r having fun and all, but people will think "what a wierd guy pressing buttons on a guitar like object". but the drums...can really impress. for gh drums, get 2 bass pedals, and play with metallica game.....promise u will get a high par with some highend drugs.
but drums need lot of practise...coz your legs and hands by nature r not coordinated. but ones the coordination kicks in.....wow.

I heard this last year, then it became a rumor coz nobody from harmonix confirmed it. Now they say this again. but seems like another rumor. Rock band 3 will definitely come. but the rumor is it will be this year.

yeap. u been doing good detective work. its a long story. but to put a long story short, my daughter has possession of the wii atm. so since d ps3 belongs to me, i replicated my instruments (except d guitar) on d ps3. but only for band hero. all my other hero and rock band games are on the wii.

in case u wanna know, i got panasonic (not related hedgehogsonic) lcd tv, and also i need to put a bit of audio lag around 45 ms. i use the automated setting not accurate, so i manually adjust it until i puas. it takes about 1-2 hours of adjusting till u hit the g spot.

u guna panasonic apa? my panasonic is 19" only, but it a good size, i sit 2 feet in front on it if playing fps, so feels like a 50" screen. if playing band hero, then maybe 3 feet away - still feels like a 40" screen.
btw, band hero ps3 can't access music store in game. does the band hero wii has this problem too? also up to today band hero ps3 can't play with registered friends, only with strangers. does the wii version have this problem?

y your tvs all so big. jealous la. during crt tv days, u r contented with 21' inch tv (my crt tvs were never bigger then that). but nowadays lcd must be 32' minimum. y like that

QUOTE(writeprotect @ May 13 2010, 09:36 AM) i went to game shop they only have rb not rb2. is it worth to buy rb?? or better buy rb2?? not so big la ramz.. other people got 42" and also got 50" lol nowdays 32" not too exp.. as long as we can play game its enough la.. hehe. no don't buy rb! (i assume u buying for wii). rb2 or nothing. rb2 got dlc which rb don't. and the ghwt drums don't work with rb!!!!! i assume u just buying the game disc only. don't buy the instrument bundle for rb2 either! y? long story, but may not be relevant to u, coz i think u not buying the instruments.
