Gotta say, I think DJ Hero is a very nice game, but seems to not be getting much love. Any reason why? Or is it cos people fed up spending too much on peripherals already. Anyone who hasn't played it, give it a try, its quite fun.

guys, what's the reasonable price for Band Hero Full Set? and where to best get it around PJ area?

which is better GH series or RB? i kinda like RB drum set more but GH drum set have cymbal :s which the bundle set are much cheaper so I can buy it

if u have the wii, i would go for guitar hero drums. coz, gh drums are compatible with more rockband games then rockband drums are compaitble with gh games. i hope that sentence didin't confuse u. unless u are so fanboyish with rockband and thinks gh is crap, then go for rockband drums.

look at the compability matrix below. the wii is a mess when comes to instrument compability with rb/gh games.

as for the game, which is better? well, its personal preference coz some say they buy the game for the songs.
but say the songs is not a deciding factor, i would still go for gh if u own the wii. rockband has a larger DLC library, vs GH has a larger game disc library (they have more game releases). but wii has a problem with DLCs, u don't really own them, coz they stick to your console and its inseperable. meaning if u change console, or your console rosak one day, your DLC goes down with it. For GH where most of their songs are on disc, if your console rosak. u still have your songs.

from the matrix charts seem like Guitar Hero 5 drum set is the best to buy coz it support of the games, personally i'm not a fanboyish with any type of games a good games is fair enough so i need a set that can do BOTH and of course it for WII we are in Nintendo board aren't we

Personally i feel that donno y ,the guitar is better gameplay on GH games
Where as the drums gameplay is better on rockband series.
But overall both equally are nice.

Well i guess probably is the star power or Overdrive patterns for drums

yeap, just a note, gh drums is optimized for gh games. although u can still play rockband games (and still have fun). but if u are a realism freak, u should note that rockband drum has 1 less pad then gh. this means u won't be hitting the gh orange drum pad in rockband. and sometimes rockband map the snare (google it if u not a drummer) to the yellow pad, when realisticly it should be red pad. its still fun if u don't care about realism. but an experience drummer would be pissed.

yeah i though so too drum much better on RB but as ramz said rb map GH drum a bit weird but seem like RB have nice song for drum play?true or wrong? gotta love all the breaking benjamin song on RB with drum

Yea i much prefer drums on RB , 1 of the obvious reason is becos of the Overdrive pattern to turn on which is more cool and fun by Freestyle hitting to get the Overdrive on. ( for GH is aka Starpower )

Where as GH Starpower for drums is hitting both UP orange and yellow cymbals together at the same time to turn the star power on.

Or maybe i got used to RB style lolx.

Well whether is a good buy or not.
Definitely for ppl who are interested in musical games.
Its still the best Optional accessories/Peripherals and super satisfaction upto today which it has been more than 1 year old for mine.

As for Pedal , GHWT drum doesnt stick to the drum stand.
So the pedal will move by itself after some fast pedaling to it.
As for GH5 or Band Hero i guess the pedal has upgraded by sticking to the stand like RB2 drums , so it doesnt move everywhere.
