i think for the time being i will just shut my mind for this N900 as i can forsee my usage will not go to that level just yet.
so now i will just focus into N97 mini.

Some ppl i known they have the same thinking as you. Because wanna save they later regret. After he tried N900 he regret getting his N97 Mini. After that he sold off his N97 Mini and get N900 in that deal he lost about RM500.

The logic is simple why people get Iphone for? Because what its capable of or how it looks and interaction?
So for you i suggest you try Nokia N900 first before getting N97 Mini if you mind still choose N97 Mini fine. Just dont want see u regret later on

Dont let the price blind you but make sure its worth what you are paying for. Come on if pay additional RM400 u get better performance n experience why not? Den after u get it u complain how u dislike about it

but i already finalize my decision and i am going to be a ori set of N97 mini.
i know how good N900 can be, but i also know how much i will use it.
difference of RM400 can make me survive for another month.
hahahahaha`
beside this phone, i also need to save up some money and purchase a new pc liao.
bwahahahaha~

Knowing that N900 using the Maemo 5 OS, so anyone know how well the Maemo 5 is if compare to the symbian OS like what the N97 mini have? Possible for Maemo 5 to install all the symbian software application (like garmin)?

Maemo is a whole new league of mobile OS, it's way advance in any way than Symbian. You can expect desktop class applications from it. Symbian has been around for years and it's really straightforward usable and functioning.

what u mentioned does have a point. N900 is actually a test market instrument for maemo.
I myself like to hack and install apps to symbian,so might as well wait and see what maemo
can do. I'm sure more refined maemo based nokia model will come out soon.

There always another better device and OS so are u gonna wait and see until ? Then when u bought u bought the wrong type of set.

just wondering is there a list of "must-have-software" for this N97 mini?

You can refer 5800 thread, both hp use same platform, so the application is same.

LOL. for those who are choosing from n97mini and n900. i recommend u go to a nokia like the garden's outlet. just put those 2 phones together and u will know n97mini is totally out LOL

u cannot like tat compare for application/ games currently N97 Mini have much much much more than N900 but if u say design,animation,function yes n900 wins

Hey, guys! I have a question...why i already put my songs into N97 mini but the music player playlist show "no songs"? I cant even access all the songs i put in using my music player....anyone experience this before?

try refreshing ur musis player

did refreshed it edi....but didn't work...still showing "no song"....=(

the phone memory, memory card as well as mass memory i also tried to put. but still cant read. I tried to put the songs into the "Sound files", i also tried outside the folder....all also can't...

What if you copy photos into it can u open the photos?
