N97 mini better or X6 16GB better?

plan to get an AP n97mini soon, just wondering is it possible to update the firmware for AP phone?

i think we still can download music from other sources , so come with music feature is not very important...

does the ROM affect the performance of the phone? just like RAM?

Knowing that N900 using the Maemo 5 OS, so anyone know how well the Maemo 5 is if compare to the symbian OS like what the N97 mini have? Possible for Maemo 5 to install all the symbian software application (like garmin)?

have been using my n97 mini cherry black for 1 week, no big problem encounter so far. In general, Garmin able to run, but when browse the map for some time, the software will hang...

during the second time when i charge the phone after i bought it , the phone fail to stop the charging by itself even after charge for 2 hours (having one unclosed application except 'menu' and 'home')... after that every time before i charge make sure all application are closed, then the problem disappear.

sensitivity of the touchscreen feel good and is improved if compared to 5800xm


mine also sometime be grainy when take photo, but not every time. may be happen when under effect of strong light


i sometime experienced this problem (surf with wifi). firmware bug??


the lastest version of garmin (5.00.60) able to run on my mini, it will unstable when browse the map.

Yes, mini same with 5800, can type msg by the qwerty on-screen keyboard.

Hello,

I have use my nokia n97mini for about one month, yesterday i have installed several software to the phone and today morning when i try to switch on the phone, the screen just show the white screen for about 30 seconds then the screen back to nothing. Try switch on for few time it is still the same. Now i have try connect the phone to the charger, the phone just give a 'beep' sound plus 30 second white screen repeatedly.


Anybody here can give me some solutions on how to solve this problem? or even suggestions?

Thanks for reply, if the phone is not connected to charger the screen will show nothing after the 30 second white screen. If connected to charger the phone will repeatedly give a 'beep' sound plus white screen.

So, if my phone does not have a memory card, format the 8GB internal memory will solve the problem?

until now i still can not turn on the phone, so how can i format my phone memory?
