Hi,
I got a Samsung 172T with the same problem like wajahebat, could be caused by wiping it with water wet paper tissue.
I can still turn on my LCD monitor but the screen is blur caused by the spreading liquid which starts from the middle of the screen, and now spreaded to almost the edge of the screen.
The worse thing is, you can feel a sourish/acidic smell if you put your nose near the screen.
Can this monitor be saved?

the power still can be on...juz the panel...can see the pic...but got spoilt at the center have a broekn spot..dunno how to explain it...but can u change the LCD panel with new one? brand antec i think...will check again

I've an old LCD monitor that doesn't work anymore (screen isn't cracked or anything, but it just didn't turn on anymore one day. )

Do I just bring it to your office and confirmed i'll get the RM30, or you need to see what's the problem first?

Also, do you know where to dispose of old keyboards, mouse, etc? I've a whole bunch of electronics I wanna throw but am afraid of polluting the environment even more. :/

yup. need to change new LCD panel. Even if we can open the panel inside, the liquid will still be tainted and smothered in there and normal cleaning or wiping cant get it off. so i think u send ur LCD to our office 1st , we will try to replace ur panel if we have the panel, if we dont have the panel you can collect ur LCD without any charge.

Yup, you can bring it straight to our office and you'll get the rm30 , about the keyboards , etc , im not sure where you shud dispose it but i think any dump can do. Just throw it to the garbage dump and let the boys do the work.

How much to repair my BenQ FP22W 22" lcd?

Its normally okay, but sometimes (rarely, like once every 3 months or something) the lcd will switch from dvi to d-sub display input for no reason and switch back again non stop. Need to turn it off n not use it for a day or so only it'll become normal again.

Are you using any splitter for the monitor? You are using DVI or VGA slot?

Judging by ur problem , do you mean that ur monitor will show no signal and no display after that?

No splitter, DVI slot.

Nope, the monitor will switch between the dvi n vga signal but it wont stay put, it'll just keep on switching between the 2 inputs until I turn it off.

Since I only use the DVI signal, so when I turn on the monitor, it'll be like this

Turn on -> DVI display as normal -> VGA display suddenly appears (which means no display, since the VGA isnt connnected) -> DVI display -> VGA display -> DVI display -> VGA display and so on, and so on until I turn it off.

when I turn the power on, the power button led turns on but no display on the screen.
