Yup iPhone 2G is a little bit troublesome coz its plug is sunken inside so L "shape" plug doesn't really fit into it. I think you can get those extension cable from Low Yat Plaza. If you're lucky, you might actually find the thing in the pic too xD

senn is a good brand sir... i also love sennheiser's sound signature... we mainly recommend what we have heard and usually good for us....
*
Haha, I guess you can really say Sennheiser suxs, but that's only limited to the entry level of headphone, higher end one is pretty good. So term and condition apply xD

Hi guys, i've been wondering which pair of cans is good for 50% games and 50% for Music+Movies, would prefer Audio Technica or other better alternatives, budget <RM1000. (Bass and Sound positioning is more preferred than vocal)
*
I would say Sennheiser HD6x0 will b a better choice when it comes to bass and soundstage~

oh ok. then from the list of Shure scl3, Ultimate Ears SuperFi 3 and Westone UM1, which is the best in terms of sound quality and price?
*
If I'm not mistaken, the SCL3 and SF3 both are shybass, Comfort wise I think UM1 would b the best~ For me, I would go for UM1.

UE TF10 I guess, it's UE's top universal IEM. Currently, UE TF10 is the cheapest top of the line IEMs that you can obtain in the market.

Hello folks!

Need to get a recommendation for an IEM under RM200. Sorry if this has been asked before but it's kinda hard to browse thru a thread that has 50+ pages, even with the search function haha..
Anyways, main use would be for my iPod nano. I'm using Beyerdynamic DT231 for my laptop I was hoping to find an IEM that'll match it's performance (or at least close to).
Looking for something that has:
1. good sound isolation, will be using it for daily commute to campus.
2. not too heavy on bass, mainly listening to pop-acoustic-y stuff like John Mayer, Tegan and Sara, Hanson and occasionally rock like Coldplay and Switchfoot.
3. international warranty, cos I'm going back overseas at the end of the month

Currently have Bijous and Hippos on my shortlist but there's quite a few models there and I can't make out which sounds like what. Also how about Ultimate Ears MetroFi, V-Moda, AKG or Audio Technica?

Looking forward to your suggestions. Cheers  biggrin.gif

V-Moda Vibe I guess, it's quite high-rated among IEM around that price. I don't think earphone has international warranty.

The Razer pro tone m250 could b pretty nice actually, except that the sponge worn out pretty quickly so you gotta DIY the sponge urself a little bit.

It helps a little, changing headphone/IEM is a better way I would say. Alternatively, I would suggest the below gadget for bass lover:

Amp:Go-Vibe Derringer
earphone:xbrand 2
IEM: Atrio M5/8: Very strong bass, up to the level of IE8 but yet a little bit uncontrolled.

If I'm not mistaken the price of PK1 should be around RM550. Shouldn't be a prob using it without amp.

erm....AFAIK pk1's need an amp to sound their best...it's hard to drive for an earbud smile.gif

An amp would be better no doubt, in order to drive it to the full potential, but it would still sound nice without an amp I reckon.

Is it worth to get a SHURE SE210??by the way i am using creative EP-830 right now...will i realize much difference???or any other choices??
AND will my ipod classic(i don't know which generation is kinda old) bottleneck its performance???
*
Wait for the opening of Jaben M'sia. Go audition it urself(hopefully they hv sample for it) and decide whether it worth the upgrade or not.

Shure SE210 got a few shops selling them actually, like MacStudio, Machines they hv them, ALL-IT should hv them also. Subang jaya LPS shop also selling them xD Yes, Shure products are pretty bass-shy, however, it's treble and high are pretty gd IMO, so unless you're bass-head, you can pretty much consider getting it.
