thanks for the recommendation. but which one is closest to the px100? i dont really prefer px100 is because it is an 'open' headphone and i scare will distract the public, but then i like the quality of the bass and the voice clarity.. cry.gif  can some1 help me to narrow down the choices here as im really new to these audio stuffs..thanks

It's gd to grab an IEM to prevent sound leaking prob.

Monique: The recabled KSCs are really that good? How much is PCWorks charging for them?
*
If I'm not mistaken, pcwork is stopping all the recabling work for the time being coz he's pretty busy recently. I've tried the recabled KSC75 before, it's indeed very nice, it makes the KSC75 sounds not so warm as compared to the stock KSC75, better mids and highs improvement basically, I couldn't recall how's the bass performance, but since I like warm sound signature earphone, so the recabled KSC75 is not really my cup of tea, I prefer the taste of stock KSC75 smile.gif

My CX500 and Zune were stolen. So I'm looking for a new IEM below RM500 to match with my future iPod Touch.

I met yuheng few years back at Midvalley to try X3i, unfortunately I can't get good fit no matter what sleeve i tried (even the one used with my CX300. which is perfectly fine). This I'm worry about. I'd like something better than CX500 but yet have good fit and comfort for my (strange?) ears.

On the sound signature, i like a more balanced sound. Though people say CX500 is bassy, I don't really think it is. I listen to basically everything under the sun, with particular interest in bossa nova.

Anyone can give a shot?
*
Oh,if Senn CX500 bass is fine to you, then may b you should try the FutureSonic Atrio m5/8~

Is it a must that you grab a wireless headphone? Because with that budget, I think it would be better that you grab a wired headphone.

I see, honestly I, myself not quite sure which one is gd bro, coz wireless headphone tends to b overpriced. Anyway, you may want to check up ALL-IT in Plaza Low Yat see whether you can find one there or not.

Yellow fellow audiophiles

Im planning to buy a decent headphone

my budget : rm800 max

soundcard : im not sure, using my laptop its onboard soundcard realtek HD i think, however im planning to get a decent rig with a good sound card.

usage : music!! (especially clarity over bass, but sometimes i prefer bass more, however i like it in between), movies too

my concern : - well actually i love hearing clear, crisp, loud sound, i thought getting a decent 5.1 speaker, but due to my small house and my newborn nephew is sleeping in the house, i changed my plan to head phones. but the problem is i have night mares with head phone. they tend not to last. i have bought so many head phones (all <rm100) which wouldnt last that long. Im afraid spending of >500 and use it for few months rosak.  And if anything rosak dunno where to repair somemore.
-also headphone is another thing you stuck in one place (if its wired), you cannot go around as to dance to the tune, thats a major setback.
- there is so many brands im confused. sleep.gif
-if im using my laptop would it bring good music to my ears? what other factors (external soundcard?amp?) as well should i consider in my equation to get that good music?

my expectations :
-comfortable clear crisp bass loud sound ( i hope i could experience 7.1/5.1 in the headphone itself, im willing to throw the $$ extra miles)
-reliable brand, tend to last long, warranty covered and there is support group if anything happen
-if its portable, how about wireless does that sort out my problem?
Before hand, thank you for reading and helping me out.
much appreciation biggrin.gif

Of coz it's gd smile.gif If you wanna compare with those wireless headphone it'll pawn them in every single way no doubt. That's not amp, it's the leather case to store and protect the headphone, expensive stuff, hv to take care of them tongue.gif Extra pics here~

Thxs bro, yup, the Beyer is gd no doubt, but it doesn't seem to receive gd attention from M'sia audiophile.

That's why we always recommend those buyers to go and audition them first to decide their sound pref. Jaben M'sia is a very nice place for that smile.gif

denon d2000 vs ad900 ?

which of them is more comfortable for long hours usage (probably 2 hours and above) ??? im going to use it for

music (mostly) :
- especially for female singers like alicia keys, avril lavigne, colbie caillat and taylor swift
- dancepop too like lady gaga, cascada, armin van buuren etc.

movies, and long hour gaming (eg : dragon age origins)

btw im using essence stx as my main rig. sources of music is mostly ori cds and flac
*
If you're always in air-cond room, then d2000 should b alrite, otherwise you might feel uncomfortable after using for a while coz the pads are leather, so you might consider the AD900 instead if you're not.
