Hi, I'm looking for a new headphone and would like some recommendation. My budget is within 1k and I want a decent headphone mainly for listening to music and watching movie. The feature that I'm looking for is good noise reduction and nice bass+sound. I am considering Audio Technica so which model will fit my description?

those with noise cancelling function

juz make the sound extra louder & more bass only... u can do that by getting an amp for normal headphone ( which make it even more smoother & widen the soundstage as well... )

Em I don't think that's how NC.worked Active NC headphone is those headphone that when you use them in say flight or train, it will cancel out those noise(engine sound, road friction sound) by receiving and generating the same frequency/sound to cancel out the noise in the environment, thus providing a better listening experience, but it'll require batts to work. Passive NC headphone is just normal headphone, it provide partial NC with the pads itself.

Beats studio is one of the headphone that has Active NC function, tho it's overpriced. Thus a lot of ppl don't recommend it since you can get a way better headphone at the same price.

yeah it will be bulky to add amp to ur phone... but it's worth it.. it sounds DIFF

best in style? ( Audio Technica wins them all hands down in that area )

1. Audio TEchnica ES10 ( it's one sexy headphone )
2. Audio Technica W1000 ( if u are into woody headphone )
3. Audio Technica ESW9 ( it's one portable woody headphone )

do check out the Audio Technica Official website to see which more and other type design u prefer...
