tangs sell wooden shoe trees for 30+....i wouldn't expect them to be good...but then...they serve their purpose of keeping the shoes in good shape

hardly shoes for real men but do not know where else to post my new haul. Cole Haan Lunargrand Fragment Design Tassel Loafers. Essentially Loafer uppers on Nike Lunar soles...so comfy I was addicted to any style of lunargrands after I got my first pair of wingtips...

Is it recommended to purchase Cole Haan's shoes locally here at outlets?
Or is there a cheaper alternative online or perhaps in the UK as I'll be heading over there soon.

Btw, to those who own a pair, how's the quality & fit?
Thanks in advance wink.gif

cole haan in malaysia is immensely overpriced. i've got 3 pairs of cole haan lunargrands, basically wingtip/saddle shoe/loafer upper with nike lunarlon sole (cole haan was owned by nike). i'm not sure if they qualify as shoes for real men but they are so immensely comfortable and light that i got hooked after getting my first pair. back to the local pricing, basically if you buy a pair of cole haan lunargrands in malaysia, you can get two pairs in the USA. i would suggest you try ebay (sometimes immensely overpriced just because of the hype) or whatever online sites. it's just not worth buying cole haans in store in malaysia.

is cole haan loafers comfortable? any brand of loafer are comfortable as tods?? my tods spoil already and very heartache whenever its dirty.. sad.gif

i would say for comfy work shoes....if you don't mind funky colours. give cole haan lunargrands a try, they are shoes with cole haan uppers (wingtips, loafers etc.) with nike lunarlon sole. damn light and comfy. buy one and you will want more. lol, i do sound like a salesman now. problem is they are too colourful for the office sometimes. but next season coming out with more subtle colours. they are sold at cole haan pavilion. just go and try the size and buy on ebay...lol!

Cole Haan owned by Nike?

There was a Cole Haan shoes at P lal store and when I asked them, I was told that brand has been bought by (if I'm not mistaken) Cheanny.
*
nike just sold cole haan a few months ago but they still own the rights to use some nike technology for the next few years...

Nike air tech with leather uppers, they look so wrong. Like wearing a suit with tennis shoes.
*
imo their not meant for the office...rather for street style

But is it still a goodyear welt shoe? means can rebuild?
*
they seem like they are goodyear welted from the stitching and so on...not too sure but i guess you will need those lunarlon soles to do a proper original rebuild....but then those soles are tough as hell...they are so comfy and light you feel like wearing running shoes and feel like u can literally run a marathon with them

There's many interesting choices within that range. But I think the uncle that assist me said the shoes are 2nd..but not used shoes , they are shoes for shops as show items. So there might be a little tiny bit of defects here &  there. But still u need to go check them out for your self happy.gif
