yup, what we can do is to tighten d timing, but as u mentioned b4, it's pointless to go too high in MHz, tight timin would be more beneficial... big toe a.k.a tony @ bleeding age knows d best...

i think we need more than am3 to take full advantage of bandwidth provided by ddr3, a breakthrough from AMD is much needed...

depend on die used, if propus die, no free lunch, but if deneb die, very high chances to get unlocked cache. i managed to unlock cache on x4 810 from 4MB to 6 MB w/o sweat, best thing was, it doesn't affect d stability at all, mileage wise, maybe a 'lil, but definitely worth for 24/7 config...

ddr1600 divider gonna limit ya ram oc (on value board like 790gx a3+, not so sure bout premium boards). i can do 1700 @ cl7 w/ ddr1333 divider but w/ ddr1600 divider, i can't even do 1600 @ cl7, cl8 is d tightest i can go. some more, usin ddr1600, i can't even hit ddr1700 even d htt is way lower compared to 1700 @ cl7 usin ddr1333 divider. chip does play some roles there, especially d imc which determines how well u can clock ya nb freq & ram.

big sacrifice needed for d 790fx board, it's like tradin a 790gx a3+ & 0922APMW for d board, not so worth it... but i firmly believe d geil ram + my current chip can go a 'lil bit further... argghhh...

d thing i hate bout corsair dom/ocz xtc ram cooler is they tend to block d inhale fan of cpu cooler (in east west orientation). if die die put there, not only cpu temp increase, nb tenp oso increase by 5'c (idle & on load). that's why i found a better way to use it instead of coolin d ram but heatin up d chip + nb.

we're gonna talk bout 890fx ledi during q1 2010 bro...

slightly cheaper than xtc v1 sellin @ $39, minus few bucks...

hehehe... 790fx pon x mampu, apetah lagi 890fx. purely for talks only, action need to wait long long...

yup, xtc v1 was a crap coz d top of d fan was covered, unlike d v2 which is abih bukak...

d tj09 was a mess, never am i gud in cable management, thou i'm usin modular psu. d key to tidy cable is to have special holes for hidin & directin those cables, which can't be found in tj-09 unless i go & mod it. no such budget at d moment...

actually can buy per stick basis for tracer 2gb. runnin 4 sticks gonna tax d imc which directly affect d mileage of chip + ram.

but since abg otroman like bling2, can ask him to buy 4 diff colors, blue, green, red & black tracer....

no tracer/ballistix in sg else i'd have bought 'em ledi.
