hmm.. noob question here.. we usually check proc/system stability using Prime95 or OCCT..

is it ok if test it using AOD..?? since i look there is calculation, cpu/fpu test option in AOD..

Well most of otai here would attest that AOD doesn't stress as much as Prime95 or OCCT..
Sometime when u do a stress test using AOD the program would give u a pass, but with the same setting u try on Prime95 it just won't pass
Soooo thats why we use them instead of AOD

mine freeze on AOD but passed Prime95...haha

ok amd lover. my MSI (freaking hate it right now!) mobo just died while priming yesterday. now i'm forced to buy another one.

what seem to be the best bet for me as i have budget limitation. budget oni got rm350. see biostar before, good ka?

priming for 3.7@3.8ghz with 1.51V only! oso mobo kenot tahan. solid cap apa mcm ini~

Bro, when u doing the priming did u put a fan blowing at the pwm's?
Most of died AMD mobo's nowadays are becoz of fried pwm's..
Ur looking for a DDR2 or DDR3 mobo bro?

bout the blowing thing. nope, didnt think bout it. prime at 3.6ghz for 7 hour then try 3.8ghz, then died. hahahahahah

ddr2 bro. saya budak miskin, baik guna ddr2 yg sedia ada. tak mampu nak angkat ddr3. mau derma?

satu lagi msi.... ni mmg kes set cpu vid terlalu tinggi lah ni... dr mos konon...

always remember to cool d pwm for long hours priming, else even premium brand like asus or dfi oso can't tahan...

Like someone we know he uses a ram cooling kit just to cool down his pwm's
Want an even cheaper way of cooling? Zip tie a 60mm fan above ur pwm's also can

later i buy small kipas petak blow it at mobo only~

but b4 that, need mobo to buy. apa yg bagos bg budget rm350??

The biostar is quite good but IIANM there's a newer model as replacement for it which uses better components etc..
I would say stay away from ECS for OC coz their power circuity is still a bit

Another thg to consider,r u using stock IGP or u have another one?

actually x kisah kipas ape yg dipakai, ocz xtc cooler ke 6cm fan dr stock cooler intel p4 ke, janji buleh jalan dah.

kalu nak jimat amiklah biostar 790gxe 128m... kalu buleh mampu ddr3 amik 790gx a3+ pun ok ape...

lupe nak upload plak...

330htt prime stable, but gotta compromise on ram freq...
