i've just read yak's website, cant see anything that says they support BB too. im sticking with whatsapp then.

nahhh.. from the review, it is clear that it is a good app. its just down to one's preference. as for me, i need an app that can send out free text to both iphone and bb, as most of my colleagues are either using these 2 devices.

hi all.. anyone of you know any Apps that enable me to watch Better/higher resolution (similar WiFi quality ) Youtube clips over 3G network ?

Cos, playing the same clip, yield better resolution only on WiFi .. but not on 3g =/

yeah. the clips totally wrecks when u use 3g.

i found this software shazam which im sure alot of you are using..its SUPER COOL and i wouldnt mind paying for it..

its basically a song recognition software..you just turn on the application,press tag and hold it to the sound source and voila!it tells you the song title and artiste in less then 20 seconds!ive tried it so many times and it never fails!im still amazed by how they actually do it to be honest..

Nah, only international songs. Works great on commercial bands.

I have both Shazam and Soundhound(previously called Midomi), and my preference have changed in the period I'm using them since their introduction.

Shazam was previously better than Midomi(now Soundhound) with the song recognition much better on Midomi. After Midomi changed themselves to Soundhound, their song recognition algorithm improved tremendously, now it has surpassed Shazam. One of the best features Soundhound has over Shazam is the features that allows you to sing or even just hum the song you have been playing in your mind, or that niggling song that you cannot get the title of that has been playing over and over in your mind, and Soundhound will match it, more often than not, correctly!

The interface is much more refined on Soundhound than Shazam too.
