I'm on basic use as you do. Calls, sms etc but current batt can last 3-4 days long. What i have posted for you are the things i have done to acheive the long lasting batt.

Anyway, if you really think there's issue with your phone batt, then send it back to Maxis and let them check it out.

but somehow this is killing my batt !! is it because it has been JBed?

Mine is JBed as well. No issues. How long do you charge your phone? Have you tried charging your phone for 4 hrs using the USB cable to comp, then shutdown and restart your phone?

i think it takes less than 4 hours for me to get full charge o.O is that an battery issue ?

The iPhone batt gets charged within 1 1/2 hrs (fast charge).

If you want to have a long lasting batt period, charge it for 4 hrs long. I have asked some of the forumers to try this out and it works.

If you charge till you see 100% (within 1 /1/2 hrs) and immediately use it or place it in standby mode, the batt will deplete from 100 to 98% after a short period of time. I've tested this numerous times.

My batt 100% status stays even after 6 hrs + or even a day with 4 hrs charging time.

The subject of Applecare Warranty for iPhone has been broached before but no one has confirmed that it is available in Malaysia.

hi guys.. i just get troubled from editting the system file...

i wanted to change my keyboard outlook to "MacBookAir". However after i replaced the system files from " /System/Library/Frameworks/UIKit.framework/ ", my keyboard had never shown the MacBookAir outlook but left some weird thing..

the 1st sign was the Shift button and languages changer button.. now what i think is.. i hope can replace back the previous system file to the URL.. so that can make it turn back to normal instead of something wrong.

the system file i needed was :

Keyboard-Common.artwork
Keyboard-Japanese.artwork
Keyboard-Latin.artwork

This is my boss' iPhone... He is using 2G iPhone, and wanted to change to 3GS... He wants all the data to be backed up so all information in his current iPhone can be stored in his new 3GS...

the problem is, when i sync, there's no backup data in the folder, iTunes option is lesser than mine (i use 3GS) and i can see my data...

i would like to seek assistance from sifus here as i am unable to solve this issue...

carbonfibre, im using 32gb and having the same issue... i just unplug my phone from power source @ 8.30 just now after overnite charging,
and now it left 55%, only 20 sms and 3minutes of calls, consumes tat much of power? im still using OS 3.0 btw...

only wav files..
anyways... i got a couple of my songs in wav files....

I'm on Fw 3.0 as well.

As stated in the pinned thread: Unusual battery depletion is almost always caused by people choosing to “Restore from backup” instead of “Setup as new iPhone” when iTunes asks you. This isn’t caused by either the jailbreak or the unlock, but it’s a common 3.0 snafu. The fix is to just re-run the official 3.0 restore and choose “Setup as new” this time. Your music and apps and all that will still be synced, but you’ll get rid of any conflicting wifi, bluetooth, or carrier settings.

Maybe the best solution for you and carbon is to do the above mentioned. I have always choose "Setup as New iPhone" given that 3.0 and above thus have batt depletion issues.

done the setup as new iphone method... still the same... im looking for a mac to pwn my iphone to 3.1.2 now... you think is there any chance that it might solves the problem? (my setting is already at the minimal power consumption and while comparing it together with my 3g 8gb, my 3g can last trice the time of my 3gs)

I reckon 3GS does consume batt more the 3G unit. Hopefully those who are using 3GS can chip in on your matter.

To update your phone to 3.1.2, you can look for Hanxz to help you out as he owns a Mac and he can advise you on how to go about with some issues you're facing.
