Can you all get connect to the Yahoomail with Maxis 3G service. MY 3Gs keep on get "cannot connect to the mail box" but it can receive mail when use wifi.

so wat I can do now is report back the issue to maxis for services due to the battery failure and auto shut off power? Duno r they aware of this or not n Duno can exchange another if possible I hope..

I might gonna pay a visit to klcc machines n maxis center regarding this issue n see whether machines can help me downgrade my iPhone OS3.1 to 3.0.1 or not.

Hi buddies,anyone of u successfully remove the scratches on the chrome part of iPhone?can direct me?I had my 3GS for 3weeks,no matter how careful m I,still the chrome part scratched,don even how how n when?haiz...sad...

do u think if i bring my iphone to machines or maxis ...they can downgrade my OS or maybe exchange another set due to this issue ???

I've no idea what the problem is but your phone should NOT shut off halfway when you're on a call unless you're out of battery. I don't believe you're able to downgrade from 3.0.1 but if yours is considered DOA (Dead On Arriva) unit, U will certainly get a replacement unit.

Chrome part scratched? Er scratch like how?! If it's very minor then just leave it lah - did u put it into some sort of tight fitting casing?

i just went to KLCC machines and tell them about my problems ..they helped me to restored ...and if there's problem occur again ..straight go to maxis with service card for claim warranty

Problem Encountered : 1. can surf the net even though 3g, edge is off and no wifi connection around (wifi is off too) i'm really scared the over data charges are came from here... it started just few days ago when i open my facebook it will update the news feed and also my twitter.... but i didn't open my 3g or wifi at all....

2. Sometimes my iPhone crashes when open application no matter is built in application like messages, iPod, or even 3rd party application.
I'm thinking is it because of my theme, i'm using a Metal Gear Solid 4 theme which got custom icons and custom msg noise etc.


Steps Taken So Far : 1. turned off all my wifi and 3g using sbsetting, reset the network setting

becuase i got some ringtone from my frenz pc ..already sync into my iphone ..
but it seems if i sync from my pc ..all the ringtone will gone ..
i juz to want transfer the ringtone from iphone to pc only ...

Problem Encountered : I cant view the PDF file properly. when i open pdf attachment, the pdf can be open, no problem, i can view it, but when i start to touch the screen to scroll it down, it will just take me back to springboard.. ALL pdf related apps shows the same thing.. Mail, Docs to Go, etc etc (cant remember the names)
Steps Taken So Far : tried respring, reboot.. tried several third party apps (cant recall their name) but failed.

yea ..it can be done ..found a software ..can take out the ringtone from iphone ..called "iFunBox"

my problem has been solved.

previously i already brought i iphone 3GS for restore at KLCC machines today ...
now the same problem occurs again which is ngam ngam when i replying an sms ...my iphone suddenly power off itself .....wat is happening!!!???
why only i m the one kena this matter in msia ...

my iphone 3G keep shut off itself.
it occur since updating to 3.1
before this nvr happened.

so after google about this problem,
not only you and me kena.

alot of people complaint about this.
actually nothing wrong with the phone.
the culprit is OS 3.1!

many people complaint d.
no point you go claim waranty as its not a hardware prob. (as far as i know la)

so need to wait for next update or try to find solution downgrade your firmware.
i got boring worrying about my iphone d.
just wait la for update. no choice..

for time being, if my iphone shutoff itself, i just reboot.
thats all i can do for now.. i know its irritating but what else i can do.

Guys, how do i know that i'm using WiFi or Maxis 3G during safari browsing?

Everytime i just saw the star flashing to show data activity.
