Whilst infected iPhones' usability is not affected, owners will feel violated cause something they didn't install appears when they don't want it. For those who have jailbroken their iPhones, just change your root password which is quite easy a process.

@jrmy02,
The only difference is in its local warranty. The HK set will only be warrantied in HK and the MY set only in MY.

@g3n0c|d3,
Thanks! Will pass fix over to him and hopefully it'll work on his i2G smile.gif

@jrmy02,
No - iPhone warranties are limited to country of origin. As to power supply unit; if HK is using the same plug as us then it's the same lah. Yes if it's unlock then can use worldwide with any SIM lah !

open your mouth and i shall spoon-feed you

just purchase a universal adapter converter (or if you have the dough, purchase the complete set from apple)

if that didnt work... (which after i off my phone and it appears again)
do this:
To Prevent:
---------------

1. CHANGE DEFAULT ROOT PASSWORD WHICH IS "alpine" AFTER JAILBREAK YOUR IPHONE

To Remove:
---------------

1. OPEN SSH SESSION OR MOBILE-TERMINAL
2. USE COMMAND "RM -RF" TO DELETE, "MAN RM" FOR MORE INFO
3. DELETE THESE FILES AND DIRECTORIES IF ANY AVAILABLE
(for variant A,B,C)
/bin/poc-bbot
/bin/sshpass
/var/log/youcanbeclosertogod.jpg
/var/mobile/LockBackground.jpg (or /var/mobile/Library/LockBackground.jpg)
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.ikey.bbot.plist
/var/lock/bbot.lock
(for variant D, it will overwrite Cydia's file, so reinstall Cydia after removal)
/usr/libexec/cydia/startup
/usr/libexec/cydia/startup.so
/usr/libexec/cydia/startup-helper
/System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.saurik.Cydia.Startup.plist
4. REINSTALL SSH DAEMON

Just a short clarification, the default password is "alpine" (like the mountains), not "alphine". smile.gif

Good that Genocide provided the 'antidote'. But prevention is better than cure, so change the root password quickly.

Hi,

I am not sure this is under itunes... so I am asking here. Recently I backup all my podcast from my old i3g and restore to my new i3gs. My problem now is my podcast is showing in the cover flow view. How do I remove the podcast from the cover flow view. I like to have only my cd rips in here. What are the steps to remove the podcast, I mean the actual settings in itunes. Any help would be grateful.
