QUOTE(rafiqos @ Nov 30 2009, 05:37 PM) I have no idea. Lol. Anyhow, it's difficult to award certitude to the pic he sent you being the same as what you received bro. Perhaps you got more than what i paid for. yes i do have to agree with you on the certitude of the pic .. well like u said ... It seems the speculation is rite about scorplings living in groups molt faster then individuals... My 1st brood whos placed in individual are still 2nd instar whilst the 2nd brood living with mum have molted to 3rd instar today... Feeding same as i feed them on the same day.... THe 1st brood has become really dark in color... but havent molt.. So it true....YAY!!

well then it is confirm then that communals are faster growers then isolated splings.
while we can only speculate the reason why this happen it may be attributed to the fact of safety.
the splings feels they are safe with the mum and grows much faster without feeling stress which is the opposite of the isolated splings which have to fend for themselve thus making them grow slower then the communal splings.
but this is just my point of view. so dont believe it 100%.
it's just a hypothesis.

Alex has the same idea... So i guess its true.. I will leave the splings with their mother for another molt.. Untill they reach 4th instar then i will separate them from mum...
