If you have a SPL meter, it is easy to check whether each channel has the same dB reading at LP.
The center channel is the most 'hardworking' among the five channels, having to produce 65% or more of the sound. That is why many invest in good center channel. Also, you need not strain to hear the dialogue/vocal.
The channel level depends on the sensitivity of the speakers, impedance and the distance of Spkr from LP. From my experience, it will not be too far off and seldom to have certain channel with rather low dB reading than the rest of the channels. Normally, all channels are in the variance of 1-3dB only after calibration by those YPAO, MCACC, Audyssey,etc.
