what about rs(rapid stop) heard of it b4? have you change your brake hoses to steel braided ones?
*
yes i've heard and ask about the price before, its quite expensive than others. i'm not sure if my dad change those before as i just took over this 6 years old car about 2 years ago. that means for the first 4 years, i never touch nor care what is going on about this car tongue.gif i dunno anything ma
i will check whether my brake hose is steel braided later. so how often should we change the brake pad?

QUOTE(WhitE LighteR @ Dec 14 2009, 10:04 AM)
Im using IMP right now... its not bad... i feel its better than RapidStop
*

195/60/R15 looks thick for me, currently using 55 series tires, next change maybe 50 series as i feel 55 series also quite thick for me....... tongue.gif
anyone here using 50 series for waja, 195/50/15 to be exact.
*
wah u use 50 series your wheels will look puny! already 15 inches so small. use thinner tires make it even smaller. haha. whats the effect of using a thicker/thinner tire btw?

I've already called the seller of this ferodo, he claim that it was distributed from a large company, and he sounds honnest
btw, how to you determine its a fake besides looking at the center groove? how do i determine by looking at the surface of the pad?
*
lotsa' seller sound honest when in fact, they're dealing with the fake goods sweat.gif
simple! compare to what i've seen, the pad's surface is too rough to be an original ferodo!
most of the performance brake pad in the market actually has the center groove indicator.

IMP is fine. in fact, i feel it was a tad better than bendix metal king titanium in cold run. last time using bendix metal king, it bite like no tomorrow (once it turn hot) but the problem was; my disc suddenly need skimming in shorter time! turn out it affect the disc too.
upgrade to pro rs brake hose for better response!

btw, 195/50/r15 looks ugly (and bumpy ride) on waja. the least, go for 195/55/r15.
series 60 provide a more comfortable ride with certain sacrifice in cornering / handling.
then again, suspension setup, tyre type and the pressure does play a factor.

am currently looking for a pair of 205/55/r15 for my rear.
so far only seen the Direzza available locally. AD07 no longer in production. guys, any recommendation?

bro why u wanna change your rear tires to 205/55 r15? any particular reason ah? 205 means wider from side to side right?

now u all tell me 55 series better handling.. i gatal already. haha. is it ALOT better in cornering compared to 60? but it doesnt look as nice as 60 series lor IMHO... any brand for 60 series that has a good balance between comfort and handling ar? biggrin.gif

after looking at sam's, i felt so inferior of mine... so i decided to clean it. so next time when we meet up again, at least i wont feel so embarrass to pop up my engine hood.

its not that clean because the stains had been there for years, will have to clean it again next time when i'm back to my hometown.

from what i heard, the original rim is 9kg each, and standard taiwan rim only weight 7kg which is good enough, you dont want too light, that will cause your rim to bend whenever you are driving in malaysia's road, any road! but i'm sure 15" wont get bend that easy.
the original rim i meant was the very first batch waja rim, the fugly one.
