u hv done the wrong thing, and write here to condemn people... don't hv car doesn't mean u can park exactly in front. wat if her guest/family drop by to visit her???

if u think the road in front doesn't belong to her... do you care if everyday people dump rubbish/dog shit to ur house outside ur gate?? use ur brain lah!!!

Usually anything outside the house boundary would be surrenderred to the local authority (except gated community) for maintenance purposes such as drains, roads and garden etc ... that's why we pay taxes for it

Legally anyone can't park outside their house boundary because anything outside their land is not theirs ...

Therefore TS, this is more a give and take issue

No. you try to think of double house next to each other.
When i wan to park my car inside the house and open the gate face outside.
so my car cant close to my gate rite? so i need to park a bt out and side angle in order for me to park in and open the gate.
but she say my back car bumper is cross over her house..

so far my housemate visitor park infront her house 1 times only..after tat we din park any more.

She not allow her housemate visitor to park infront her gate as well..so they all park infront of my gate also.
but i din complaint any thing cos even they block my car to going out but i know they just temporaly park.
if i really wan to go then i can inform them to remove the car....why so such big problem to her since she dun have car.

now she put 2 rubbish bin infront of her house and which is very close to main road..so now i cant drive in to my house from side angle.

NO. She put 2 rubbish infront her house and which is close to main road.
If her visitor come then all of them park infront my gate as well....but i din complaint them at all.

We all din park infront her gate any more after 1st incident.
i agree no 1 will happy if some 1 park infront your gate specially in malaysia..car parking is limited.
since we stay as neighbour..why she cant just give some note or warning to my vistor. rather than stick all the paper with strong glue.
i rather she call the DBKL to tow my car or summon...but she should not do like to my housemate fren car.

I think i will post the photo to explain the situation.

Whether she have cars or not is none of your business. And you have no right to justify other people business when your friend is intruding into other people right of way.

Looking at the picture and the 2 rubbisn bin, thats is her "right of way". No one should park in front of other peoples houses no matter what your excuse. Try imagine if you are partying inside your own house after you park your car in front of her gate and the old lady suffer a heart attack and somebody of the family car can't rush her to hospital becos of your friends car block her front gate. Who want to bear the responsibility?

Yes old lady is wrong to stick the glue on your friend car windows but why your friend go park in front of her house in the first place, don't tell me there is no place to park car other then this old lady house. Your friend is like most people nowadays just takes things for granted and never ask permission, they think they own all the parking lot in front of other people house just for their own convenient.

a lot of people like this in this world. at my place, the people even 'book' the spaces across the road. whatever is in front of their house is all theirs...

Ok. I agree with u whether she have car o not is none of our business. We have 4 car in the house, so far none of us park infront her gate at all.
This happen only 1 times where my housemate fren visit her at midnite 1am, so they park there.
After the 1st incident, i tell all my housemate and visitor. don't park infront her gate.

OK. she can put 2 rubbish bin infront her gate. but what abt her housemate visitor?
now all of her house visitor always park infront of my gate and go to pasar malam. i ask her vistor, they say the old woman say canot park infront her gate as well. she not even allow her housemate visitor to park there. then can park my places?

please look on another 2 photo below. the front and back view of the main road. and is 6pm only. think what happen at 8pm during pasar malam.
Now she put the another black rubbish bin at the middle of 2 house. do u think the wira can move in and out ? please think tat the driver need to go down from car to open the gate. now she no even allow our car cross over her house when open the gate. so she have right again?
What happen if have car from 2 way? i no even can park inside my house bcos of her rubbish bin. without the rubbish bin atleast ppl have 'spaces' to giveaway to other car.

I have check with MBPJ, no 1 can put any object infront of the driveway, is illegal. and now her black rubbish bin is block my way in and out.
MBPJ say i have permission to remove it if it block my driveway. she can put the notice paper to inform ppl don't park infront the gate but cannot put any object to block the road.

Even you park at the road side and driver is inside the car, traffic police also wont saman ur car.

Except pasar malam day, else we never park infront our gate as well. as u know if u park in front of the gate, then u always need to remove when ur housemate need to go out.

Yes. this is more on give and take issue. we never complaint any thing abt her visitor.
now she say all my housemate got problem.
even the motor cannot stop there to fetch my housemate as well. she always say the land outside the gate is belong to her.

aisay pity you have this kind of neighbour. The only thing you can do now is ignore her and place 2 big dustbin in front of your house too. Fight fire with fireloh. laugh.gif

btw don believe a thing what those mbsj people say, they never do their job at all except harrassing night traders and asking for you know what.

i assume you are renting the house...
2 options:
1) find new place and move out (maybe after your tenancy agreement ends).
2) live with it... no point quarrel with her... will just make ur life miserable.

btw, even with the rubbish can, i think no problem driving the 2 cars into the compound because it's big... unless u want to park 3 cars biggrin.gif

i'm also place somethings in front of my house to block people park in. I also put a note and write "Please use your brain to park your car!!!" to someone car before, but i didn't glue it la, just put at wiper there. My house is facing shop lot with restoran and Magnum , Toto in front. Many cars like to park in front me and go no way for long time.
I know that land in front me is not belong to me, but there is always un-educated people like to park in front of people's house and blocking people's car.
If you only park there and waiting people, then it's ok for me, Or at least leave a contact so that i can contact you to remove the car in case you are in hurry and i'm in hurry too. But there is few times i waited and hon for 1hour + also no ppl come remove the car. I need to work need to drive need to eat also. ZZZ

Well, my case is different from TS, mine is blocking my house for long time by 'no brain driver'. zzz

Neither of you can obstruct public roads, the boundry of the house is usually up to the gate and beyond that the road/land is for public access.

Thankfully my neighbours don't do that and I'm fine if they park at the side or the back. My house is end lot so people tend to park at the side.

Additionally the whole sticking paper with glue is considerd vandalism. You should have lodged a police report and owned her sorry ass.
