what i did was

    - first, turn on the portrait/landscape option by changing the following registry value from 1 to 0:

        HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\HideOrientationUI

    - then assign <Rotate Screen> to the hardware button 1 or button 2 by going to Settings->Personal->Buttons

    - Next, fire up GarminXT and press the assigned button to change to landscape mode.

hope this helps.

tried your method... but i cant see the <rotate screen> option.

any clue?

I suppose no one has any idea bout the youtube streaming failure.
currently using the youtube.cab from youtube website, working well.

now, has anyone tried the TV out function?

and doing a hard reset will restore back to factory setting, which means the included softwares such as office/ midomi and so on will be there, am I rite?

I tried Mapking R12 but it interfered with the Menu Button. But when tried to assign the button back to Menu, something strange happen. Menu button became very laggy.

Had to clean up the memory to remove the laggy problem :-(

Is Garmin good? Does it default the turn on button to the Menu button?

Thanks for your input.

reflashed + hard reset... working perfectly now.

anyways... U flashed with the Sorg or Secany Singapore ROM?

Is there Asphalt4 included and the threaded sms by default?
I thought they were unmodified ROMs.

And theres no battery level shown on the taskbar ohmy.gif

OMG, now the timezone cant be modified. I can't even change the clock time coz nothing happens when I click on 'New'.

Btw, flashing is really not the prob, its the installing softwares and setups that take a lot of time. cool.gif

Try this, it works for me.
Rapidshare to a temporary server so you can download with accelerators.  File will only stay on server for 1hr 30 mins.
And if you're thinking of what I am thinking, no, it does not violate Secany's wishes for no mirrors as we are still downloading using his links.

icon_idea.gif thanks for the link dude. but I'm too getting the error thingy. will try again soon.

What about http://ngising.net/ ?
Its an alternative service.
I just tried it with a rapidshare link.  Tested with a 43MB file.  Took only less than 20s to transload to the temporary server.  Download to computer was around 160KB/s.
*
just tried that as well, the thing is the large rom file is large as u know, but it transloads partially and what i'm getting is only bout 40/50mb ohmy.gif
unless i'm missing something.. its okay i am trying still.

update: okay now I notice... its transloading (upoading) to its server... will be done soon... muakzzz, thanks bluhound!! ur a geniuz!! icon_rolleyes.gif

I take it you're downloading IJC?  As I just tried to transload PDA_I8000NXXIJC.part1.rar the site shows it has already been transloaded and the filesize is correct, 191MB.

EDIT: Didn't realsie you edited your post..  tongue.gif  Glad to hear it worked..
*
yeah that was me!!! Done transloading to the site. Thanks again!! Btw, u know hw long will it be active after transloading? icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

I installed latest New_PC_Studio_1.4.0.IK1, choosing Malaysia as country

I also have flashed to J9 from secany

It says my phone is not supported.

Is it because I flashed J9 from secany?

Anyone have the same problem?

Could it be I use the wrong CSC?
*
I'm having the same prob too.
Which country did the rest of you guys choose when installing NPS? rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

guys anyone out there from Malaysia, done flashing succesfully with NPS, mind sharing the CSC code for our Malaysian market?

I think cant update via NPS due to the wrong CSC, which is not for Malaysia.

Thanks.

I've just received a call from Samsung SC. They informed the WM 6.5 is now available for Omnia II. (I've called them up a few weeks ago and asked them to inform me when the firmware is available).

thumbup.gif

Indeed, very good customer service. smile.gif  I'll go update maybe on Saturday....hehe. Let them do it better than me download and flash...all my PCs are Windows 7 anyway....

have you found out if there is any service charge included and the working hours during weekends?
