Cool lock screen. How do you get the big clock on the screen? I'm using the Dusk screenlock ver 3.0.

Thanks.

My current customize OMNIA II is base on:

- Khuanchai WM 6.5.5 build 23518 custom ROM.
- Ahen theme.
- WM 7 Titanium with JLMToday mod by Contable.
- SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.3.
- Customize WM 6.5 Lockscreen. (LS_LockScene_480x800.cpr)

got my omnia 2 few days ago and have been tinkering with it
safe to say, with stock settings, stock programs, the UI is horrible. very laggy, very painful to use.

as i slowly peel off the garbage that samsung made, it gets better =D
havent flashed my rom yet. will do that soon

im still worried, if i were to flash to custom rom, and i need to go back to ori service center, i do have to flash it back to stock rom right? but how do i back up my stock rom?

=D thanks guys
*
Just flash back to below firmware, it is official latest stock ROM for Singapore & Malaysia OMNIA II.

guys..any1 faced b4 sudden drop in signal n no network from this phone..my dad is using digi..
after going to digi centre they tested his sim with another phone and was full bar, while earlier only 2 bars on the omnia 2..
sent to samsung service dat bugger dont bother to diagnose say its board prob and demand rm1.5k since its Spore set..damn idiot..any1 care to advise?
*
You bought at Singapore, Malaysia service center won't fix for you, Samsung warranty is not international.

The only way is bring back to Singapore Service Center.

And don't blame people damn idiot, it is your problem, no service center will fix for different country phone without charging as your warranty is not cover international.

If they do for you, then how Malaysia Samsung earn money, people will buy at Singapore since it is cheapest a lot than Malaysia.

Thanks! notworthy.gif

Btw you all experience lag or slow response with the Samsung sms program? Take so long to respond after u press the new msg, or when u want to select number from phone book sad.gif
*
Official J9 ROM SMS is quite lagging, JA1 is far better than it, more speedy. I never face any lagging on phonebook.

@ Andrew

Can you provide the link for the sense thingy? I've been using SPB mobile shell before and I failed in customizing it.

Also,

I just bought this http://cgi.ebay.com/Hard-Back-Cover-Case-f...=item45f090bdb2 for my Omnia II.

Download the cab and install, make sure you exit the mobile shell before install.

After install, you need to customize your own, as it still show basic mobile shell one.

I flash everytime Secany release new ROM and also Khuanchai when releasing newest cook ROM on newest windows build. Seems like Khuanchai is quite a long time never release any ROM.

I play before PointUI - PointSense - look cool but stability issue.

I still prefer SPB, just hope SPB can make manual add-on shortcut icon stick forever rather than keep reloading.

Games ah - not ready, haha, I only play games via my iPod touch. Ops!

Small Review of KSTAN WM 6.5.3 build 28223 integrated with Secany I8000XXJB1 - Full Samsung Features ROM

user posted image user posted image

user posted image user posted image

Pros
- Great ROM release by KSTAN, this is my 1st time trying KSTAN ROM and KSTAN did a great job on it.
- All features by Samsung is working well without any issue. (I like it so much!)
- Scrollbar in Dialer fix. (Bravo!)

Cons
- As usual "X" button set to exit is not working. (I try most of WM 6.5.X custom ROM and non of it is working either)
- Auto popup of keyboard in Phonebook is annoying. (Due to issue of original I8000NXXJB1 ROM)

Wish
- Possible to re-allign the Samsung Widget Plus to fit properly.
- Fixing the JB1 auto popup of keyboard in Phonebook. (Turn off SIP auto deploy did not solved the problem)

Notes
- Above screenshot was taken after apply of Condor GT Black Edition WVGA theme (not included in the KSTAN ROM).
- Swype & Plum SIP is not included in the ROM as well.
- Total Storage Memory reduce to 50MB is due to installation apps in Main Storage (Example installation of Swype and PlumSIP).

*** Highly recommended if you love / want WM 6.5.X with all Samsung features apps attached.

My small review of JD1 ROM:
- 1st Official Samsung WM 6.5.3 ROM.
- No more Alignment Issue.
- The most smoother Samsung WidgetPlus - no longer refresh the widget and jumping between each page is fluid and smooth.
- New Media Player, re-design with big and clear cover display (Similar with JC2) with better volumn control at left side volumn button.
- New Photo app as now it allow you to deselect folder you don't want to be display.
- Re-skin the calculator, must more better color than JC2.
- Re-skin of Samsung Keyboard which now suite better with theme and dialpad.
- Top header re-color, now is even much more better than JC2 which darker and better coloring.
- The Dice game is still the old one, why only Taiwan and Hong Kong preloaded with newer dice.
- New incoming call screen when device is unlock.
- New Opera Mobile 9.7 preloaded.
- More RAM available, now 152.13MB available.
- No issue displaying asian language.
- Samsung Main Menu & Cube 3D removed. Kinda miss it but is ok as it is pointless to having it.
- Larger Indicator has been remove and replace with default WM 6.5.3 one.

This ROM is by far the best ROM ever release by Samsung. Bravo! Samsung!

- Change background to Black & Font to white.
- Change scroll bar to red.
- Popup Window header recolor to more vivid and dark.
