lol a f***ing good move from the developer. at least they have the common sense that DRM don't help sell games only good games do and they know it. my commitment to CD Projekt Red only gets stronger.

Steam is selling at $33.99 but I am still getting it from TSB at $49.99. I am a real sucker for hard copy. Btw, is the premium edition the normal version of the game?

Finished the game! doh.gif

The game is so short only 3 episode?! It's was very easy and fast to finish the game. The Witcher Enhanced Edition is far more better gameplay and deeeper story line than this. Quite disappointed comparing to the first one. I was expecting more, not just better graphic engine.

5:4? Isn't that 4:3? But the next patch they will fix it. From v 1.3 change list:

2. Game now supports 4:3, 5:4, 16:10 aspect ratios.

there are two black bars at the top and bottom of your screen. Similar to Need For Speed Hot Pursuit. It wasn't that troublesome for me but i prefer the picture fit the whole my old 16:10 LCD.

Buying retail copy you are supporting Bandai Namco.. they are holding the $ that to be paid to CDPR.. And they are filing lawsuit to them for removing DRM. But other than that the game is really worth keeping a physical copy.

Yeah I know but this impasse can't last forever besides it is not good to the publisher either. You see even EA don't do that to DA. They are holding the $ but this is something no publisher can win. Does anyone really believes the BS that a no DRM game translates to lost sales? Or else what? They go to EA and get the cheap ass packaging?

The Witcher 2 patch 1.3 detailed, includes free DLC

user posted image

QUOTE
The Witcher 2's patch 1.3 still doesn't have a release date, but we do have more details about its fixes and goodies. Patch 1.3 will allow item storage at the game's inns, new aspect-ratio support and will include a free DLC quest that sounds more like it belongs in LittleBigPlanet, "A Sackful of Fluff."

The patch will also fix a slew of issues, including patch installation causing the game to reset to default, map pin problems -- and the option to fistfight the woman praying at a statue in Vergen, which has now been deactivated. The full list of patch 1.3 updates can be found here.

Gameplay hours too short not worth buying, cheat money. Boring storyline!
