Joey to start against Aston...maybe...but I prefer all pure midfielder in the middle....

right now that the best formation for us so far, but definitely not lampard up front.. until we got a lightning flash winger, we can't fully utilise 4-3-3 formation like we did at morinho era..

QUOTE(ken0777 @ Oct 5 2009, 05:24 PM)

Kinda disappointing for Lampard and Deco...

*
why?? he did a great job marking babel, johnson and kuyt.. eventhough he not scoring, i can't imagine how many goal chance that might be produce by them from left side if he not there.. malouda definitely worse then him in term of defending and tackling.. for me, he done his job last night.. it must be frustating to him because he not scoring for several match already, but instead of losing, he rather play at own half for the most of 2nd half.. that a great contribution from him..

after the lost, i still think that we're on the right track... cheer up, m8. anyway, our away kit is CURSED! demmit.

no, its not that bad though.. I rather said that we always have a bad luck at Villa Park.. if i'm not mistaken, we never win a league game at that place for several season already.. last night result was predictable.. sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

we already have stoch for future (hope he not run away from us).. if athletico make a demand more than 30M for kun aguero head, we better not buying him.. i do admire aguero though but i really think that in order to make a great team, we only need one or two key players(at most 3) and the rest is the player that those key players can play with (suit those player play style).. right now we already have 3 key player - lampard, drogba and terry.. its not a wise choice if we bought aguero with intention to bench him for several years.. that definitely against his will and his performance will sure drop drastically.. if we want to buy a back up player, then i suggest we go for around 10M pounds player and proven his quality in BPL..

p/s -- i really admire stoch at the moment.. with his current performance, i'm pretty sure he can play at least at same par of our arjen robben(when he play with us) after 2 years.. i feel that both of them have some similarities..

that damned rovers manager is trying to distract us with his swine flu crap! can you believe that.

there is a problem with buying new players. we love our reserve players too much tongue.gif we can see sturridge, di santo, borini, kalou all taking over once anelka and drogba hangs up their boots! i think we play more as a unit compared to depending on an ace. so i dont see aguero coming over and making a big impact anyways. give joey a new contract instead. save the money!
*
I second that.. joey should be our first priority.. he already our player and we should keep him with us as long as possible.. plus, his quality is proven and he is an English player.. don't forget that our team still lacking of english players..

if i'm not mistaken, FIFA have rule out that every team need to have at least 8 home ground players.. if Joey out then we already don't have enough english players quota.. so, instead of signing aguero kun, we better extend joey contract.. 40M is seriously overpriced for him.. even torres only worth 25M when he moved to liverpool as a La liga top scorrer

in overall, it quite a performance from the blues and our winning has been ensured when bolton defender(forgot his name) got red carded.. we really miss ashley cole as a left back since feirera is not good enough to cover for his role.. again, Ricky show a shacky performance; always losing his man (elmander).. he really lucky because ivanovic played really well last night otherwise ricky will loss his 1st eleven for sure if elmander score last night..

I think tonight CA will play with this combination

------------------------------------------------------------Cech-------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------Ivanovic---------------------Alex----------------------------------Terry-----------------------------Belleti--------------

-----------------------------------------------------Essien--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------Lampard/ Deco-----------------------------------Ballack----------------------------------------------------

-------------------------------------------------------------Joe Cole----------------------------------------------------------------------

----------------------------------------------Anelka---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------Kalou(Drogba-60')------------------------------------------------------------------------

he need to play Joey to regain his match fitness.. Lampard and Drogba has high probability to be rested tonight due to a very important game this weekend.. Ferrera will drop to bench due to last weekend performance..

Why did you choose Belleti over Ashley? I thought Ashley is regarded to be fit for the

game against Atletico Madrid?

i thought he still injured.. but if he recovered, we should play him then:)

Well what can I say? The frantic last 10 mins of the game is well worth waking up in the wee hours of the morning for sure. But I must admit Sergio Aguero's freekick goal at the 91st minute brought back the painful memories of Iniesta's goal last season. As much as I enjoy watching us scoring last minute crucial goals, the same cannot be said about watching us conceding at the last minute. I'm thankful that this is not a knockout tie based on away goal rule. Phew!

haha what you think is true. chelsea fans should put their concern on the team only. but the thing that i'm feeling come out from humanitarian (LOL) aspect. they are one of europe most success club and now they are falling apart. chelsea also want to become a successful team like liverpool. this should make chelsea more motivated and learn from others mistake.

as for Man Utd, the thing i hate about them is alex ferguson and their fans (hate the most). so full of themselves like they own the world  mad.gif  chelsea have gone through an era of revolution under JM where everybody should voice out their opinion for the sake of the team although it will make somebody sad. so, as a fans of chelsea, we also getting used to it where sometime, we criticise the team performance for good. not like man utd fans. most of the time, they will not even admit their team performs badly. ref fault, no penalty, offside and many more.. what the heck.. go play your own ball la if everything not going your way
*
plus our fans (Blue Army) never cursed our x-player who moved to other club like what happen with MU fans and arsenal fans right now.. i know that is their freedom, but i just feel its not right..
