essien is battling very hard with mascherano..i rate this 2 as world best DM

was proven to be the best after makalele. mikel still have a lot things to learn before he can par up to essien's level. look on how calmly he control the central most crucial area

QUOTE(franklampard8 @ Oct 5 2009, 02:59 AM)
I though malouda would be chosen over deco. But well, you guys predicted correctly. Ballack proven vital again, and mr essien was our hero smile.gif Lampard's kinda silent tho...

Both of our strikers did really well...

Pool pressured us a lot since we scored the first goal..credits to our defending team! smile.gif
*
well deco was a good defense breaker when he got the time to do it. while ballack had an advantage over aerial battle. he also can sniff out even a tiny opportunity to create a path to glory on the net. as usual, essien was proven the best replacement for our former c makalele. he fought and played well. this time he pays us well.

pool were famous as the fastest counterattacking teams that is capable of turning the table around at the very last moment. i guess CA has create a good plan for this. indeed he's very good in this kind on tactical battle.

QUOTE(MADReaLJL @ Oct 5 2009, 02:59 AM)
noticed during the 1st goal, lampard and essien exchanged position and their functions laugh.gif

something had been set up by mr CA here. pool's vital most dangerous weapon wasn't able to be launched. nice one CA

as i posted here before, mikel was originally not a defensive midfielder ala 3rd cb like makelele before.. he was told to play that position during mourinho era for some reason.. he actually is a box to box midfielder which shone along with messi during youth world cup before.. i would like him to be given a chance to fulfill his potential since there must be a reason why man utd and chelsea fought for his service before

zola having a tough time now, west ham still looming around relegation zone. but i think he will pull things together soon. give him more time at west ham for managerial experience.

for me he still got a lot of things to learn. of course as a chelsea player i gave my faith on him. he still can tweak something up his sleeves and yet he can also be a good player. i mean a very important player like the other blues. but time is running out. with your team and arsenal at their top forms. any tiny error could cause a huge impact on our team. lucky CA learn it fast, like the old english way.

as for mikel. he's good. he's consistent but at time like this we need a solid player who can play a major part on securing the good 3 points.

the thing is some of their supporters blame drogba for diving.. but easily forget their own man's doing.. plus he already made a player sent off this season by diving.. trying to wear alonso's mantle i guess.. at least alonso didnt dive

Perhaps you should watch the clips before you make yourself looks like a fool.

Did Lucas dive? No.Watch Davies' legs and Lucas'.

And if you really wanna have a look on it, fine, I can dig the clip for you.

And if you wanna talk further about it, drop in our thread. We welcome any good discussions aside of rubbish accusations.

it doesnt have to be lucas but it can be mascherano.

I agree with that. Essien's a beast, and Mascherano tackles brilliantly. To be honest, I think John Terry deserves the MOTM better than Drogba. Try counting the amount of times Terry headed away our crosses and long searching balls into the penalty area. Also, his block on Gerrard frustrated me, but it really was excellent defending. Drogba was good, but MOTM? Nah..

He did dive, yes. But wasn't Essien at fault as well? Stamping his leg around? Of course, a dive is a dive, no denying that, but at least, Mascherano did not stay for too long on the ground, and he joined the action a few seconds later. smile.gif

QUOTE(A 11 @ Oct 4 2009, 06:55 PM)
Drogba was the Pivotal Player today.
Rafa was able to neutralize the wingbacks last season and thus Chelsea had no width. But there is no answer to Drogba today..
Torres had a really bad game.
*
Drogba is not a Diver. When you get hacked by the likes of Carra & Skrtel you get stung momentarily if not bruised. Every hack needs to be brought to attention besides needing a couple of minutes to recover from the stings. He's justified to go down IMO..

QUOTE(A 11 @ Oct 4 2009, 07:10 PM)
MU and the Reds squads have regressed in quality.
The loss of impact players like CR9, Carlito, Alonzo should not be taken lightly. Their sales have demoralized the squads to a certain extent.
Theres a possibility of one or both of them dropping out of their Top 4 tier or advancing far in the CL stage.
Unless theres a change in their Financing.
The announcement of Saudi's takeover has rejuvenated the Pompey squad. doh.gif

For Liverpool sake,  I hope that a  Saudi buyout of Hicks & Gillett happens soon.
*
Else Chelsea will runaway with the title. whistling.gif

are u nuts. hilario was awesome tonight. he saved loads of shots! the free kick, numerous times putting his body on the line to punch the ball out.

hilario deserves at least an 8.

oh man terry was awesome tonight. i lost count the number of balls he headed away from the box.

iva wasnt very impressive today but i appreciate the work he put in. have to give credit to iva and ashley for all those well timed tackles against the opposing flanks.

OUR MIDFIELD POWERHOUSE OWNED THE MIDFIELD! BALLACK DID GREAT TONIGHT.

drogba and anelka? world class play tonight. two awesome assist by the ivorian and superb finishing by the frenchman. reina had no chance.
