QUOTE(Angel On Fire @ Sep 16 2009, 01:18 AM) Dear all, seriously, i hate such guy. but, if you love him & you don't really mind like how i do, it doesn't matter I'm currently dating a guy who doesn't like to drive. Other than for short trips to a few familiar places, he'll suggest we either take LRT, taxi or that I drive (either my car or his). His car is rather old too. The thing is he is not a useless bum or anything like that. He is intelligent, open-minded, has a decent career, is a successful investor and so on. In short, he has his oddities but is quite a good catch My question: is it normal and socially acceptable for a girl to drive her boyfriend on dates? Girls, your opinions please. |

I totally prefer my gf to drive. Some of my male friends did brought it up as a "you're a *****" issue. But it didn't bother me. Totally love being fetch by my girl. Screw those who think it's socially unacceptable.

Added on September 16, 2009, 8:44 pm QUOTE(XiiaOkia @ Sep 16 2009, 01:28 AM) i like my gf to drive me also because when i drive very pressure! Sure you get a lots of police summons i dun like to wait in traffic jam..if many car then i goes crazy and drive very fast cut here and there =) ps: i drive car like playing arcade >.<" Added on September 16, 2009, 8:46 pm QUOTE(map @ Sep 16 2009, 08:45 AM) unless he's one of those passenger drivers who tells you to speed up, slow down, look left look right etc. then it's no big deal for me Nah, he's a well-behaved passenger. Not a control freak at all Added on September 16, 2009, 8:49 pm QUOTE(munkeyflo @ Sep 16 2009, 08:56 AM) however, my mom, has been driving my dad around for years. whether they go out for dinner, go office, go kl or wherever. even long distance convoy driving like to china or thailand, my mom will mostly drive. my dad only drives when he's going out for lunch by himself or when he really needs to. most of the time, me, my mom or my aunt will ferry him around. My bf is exactly like your dad Added on September 16, 2009, 8:50 pm QUOTE(f4tE @ Sep 16 2009, 11:27 AM) ok ma. WHen i first started with my gf, sometimes she drive me on her bike sometimes i drive her on here bike. That was during secondary school la. Now no more hehe Cute Added on September 16, 2009, 8:56 pm QUOTE(whoopa @ Sep 16 2009, 08:53 AM) If it's short distance or if he's familiar with the place, he'll drive. If not, he'll suggest we take taxi. QUOTE(Angel On Fire @ Sep 16 2009, 08:42 PM) that's because u and ur bf dont work in the same office. both my parents work in the same office so normally my mom will go office earlier then after she go bank and all that in the morning, she'll come home and fetch my dad go. or either me or my aunt will send him there. |
