err....that's not true...i got couple of frens...even some of my lecturers said...

it's easier to pass ur core rather thanpassing ur part 3 optional....so the optionals are harder than the core =P

they say it's easy to pass bcos they add/adjust marks until u pass....unless u failed terribly...then that's another case LOL

why dont u go visit them 1 by 1?see which place u like but no doubt sunway has the best environment since it's SUNWAY u know? LOL... and btw march intake has all started, i think u should wait for june intake or something? =P

they say 40 marks is enuff...hehe...in fact every paper they got adjust he marks...since that they follo wthe graph etc...but they will adjust more on the core paper....

no,lembu is wrong.....i think no one dare to say ALL the best lecturer are AT "X" place...there's no such thing......the good lecturers are scattered around...but for CAT level, good lecturers aren't important yet.....wait till u come to ACCA then only talk bout lecturers...CAT is more bout urself...lecturer cant help u much during CAT when it comes to lecturing,exam techniques etc...


pudu if u take bus..u have to take bus from pudu to KL then from KL to sunway...if no jam at all.then it'll takes 1 hour lor.... but usually federal highway will jam terribly....and u'll have to walk quite far into sunway college from the bus stop... estimated journey with jam etc....2 hours =P

CAT fresh grad....below/maximum 1k i suppose...and it'll be more on accounting field rather than auditing field...commercial companies not those audit or acounting firm...

what i know is that CAT kinda hard to find jobs LOL

it's equivalent to LCCI but i think with a diploma level it's tough to find a job....

FTMS is okie..but their feee is also among the highest among ACCA tuition provider..... u can consider Kasturi,PAAC and Systematic(only for 3.2 choong kwai fatt...sysmatic kinda sucks LOL)

what diploma do u have?..FTMS also expensive ler...have to pay1 shot somemore hehe...degree is easier lor...professional course is harder but more recognised


u can only do ACCA in TAR is u start ur foundation there...u cannot join halfway since they have their own way of getting ACCA qualification...Sunway peer pressure is strong especially with the spending money part LOL... well i think it's not only the hard work....i think lecturers is quite important when u go further into the course....with a bad lecturer,i think ur failing rate is much much higher
of course hardwork is important..not that i'm denying that =P

study diploma and degree in FTMS?

if u go degree route

foundation>>degree>>acca= at least 5 yrs,i'll say =P
CAT>>acca=at least 2.5 or 3 yrs... u can do ur degree from OBU-ACCA partnership after u complete ur part 2...just do a research and hand up(less than 5k words)...voila and u get ur degree =P

ACCA is hard....but no one said u must have experience to pass....u study only,it'll be hard bcos u have no experience....u work and study it'll be even harder bcos u spend a lot of time working even though u'll get experience.....there are gain and loss but that depends on ur attitude...if u r the one with strong determination..whichever route wont stop u from passing

in order to qualify for the degree project u must study part 2 of ACCA bcos the average marks of ur part 2 exams will determine ur class of ur degree....FTMS cert not recognised? if u study ACCA n CAT...it's external exams so it's okie.....

yah ACCA not that hard...it's just okay once u reached the level...it's like when u r taking UPSR everyone is complaining how hard SPM is...once u reached SPM level u think it's just normal..kinda hard but still can handle...once u look back..SPM is peanuts LOL..... so the conclusion is...people will grow and learn through their lives...when they reach a certain levels...hard things will be easy =P

nope.. it's not possible.. u cant.. the degree requires average marks of part 1 and 2 of ACCA as a decider for ur degree's class/honours.. so u need at least some part 2 papers to get the degree

Depends.. i dont think sunway is the best... it's more like a fashion parade over there than a real uni college.... LOL

if u want college life.. sunway is definitely the place to go..

otherwise,it's okay to go for other institutes.. popular ones in KL will be, FTMS and Kasturi.. i myself is studying PAAC so i'll recommend it LOL =P

PAAC is like a small institute.. frenly staff.. nice people there.. lecturer also quite nice.. but it's small lar.. used to be even smaller.. but now they got a lot better bcos they got some new lecturers from KLC,FTMS etc..

and their website is not updated 1... they dont focus on that bcos their niche is accounting ma.. so IT stuff they dun really stress on that..

instead of asking me or other people to suggest where u should go... i suggest u visit every college urself.. take a good look around.. environment and staff support plays a role in ur study process.. to find out whether the environment suits u,u have to visit them urself bcos it's quite subjective.. but i can say that FTMS staff support is shitty LOL..

bout sunway,i heard from my fren that their staff support not that good either.. everything bout $$$$

yes those are their main course besides MICPA... the fees i dunno.. but it's among the cheaper ones lor.. maybe u want to try and call them.. try looking for BB or anyone else will do.. they all very friendly 1

their campus not very big.. but it's adequate for the no. of students there.. their class also not very big.. the lecturer will really help u if u are blur.. since there are not many students..

i think not.. used to be.. now registered only gua.. as far as i know.. now only TAR is premier.. sunway and IPG premier plus.. the rest all registered.. u can check tru the list of tuition providers in ACCA website

PAAC very famous for MICPA.. u ask any MICPA students they shoudl know bout PAAC.. for ACCA they r just starting to really promote.. they dont have heavy promotion like kasturi,FTMS etc.. the principal is NAWEM's president.. and she got many connection lor.. if u want to find job, they can arrange for you..

they very friendly right? wait till u meet them in person.. they r great hehe

Kasturi also not bad.. but i heard their admin also not so friendly.. but kasturi got big classes.. so it's harder to ask lecturer questions..

yah u should visit.. after all it's u who r going to study .. u should visit and see which place u like the most
