TR is mean topaz/rhodium.. hereby refer to diamond 2 / touch pro 2. at first, valkyrie started off with firestorm (FS) rom. then there is a request for manila-free rom, then there got xperio rom.

later on, when hd2 started to leak out the rom, which include manila 2.5. valkyrie got no choice but to separate the FS division into to to cope with landscape user and beta (manila 2.5) user. so, FS itself split into 2 again which is LEO and TR. LEO is owes familiar with no landscape support and buggy due to new interface. while TR cope with old degil ppl who wan landscape in manila and more stable rom.

in the end, now even LEO do have landscape, but still it is a memory hungry rom. so LEO and TR division will still remain. which TR will have latest rom build but with only manila 2.1 to restore device speed and responsiveness.

Different user need different settings. furthermore winmo devices is customize perfectly for 1 and only 1 owner. tat y rom plays part here and tweak to suit owner itself.

If u are looking for stable rom go for TR. LEO is more like for bughunters.

28205 TR is so buggy.
It has the same call history bug, line disconnect bug & ending call hang just like in 28205 Leo.

Time to try 21887 TR.

That's it! 21887 TR is my last try, if it doesn't solve all the problems from 21887 Leo, 28025 Leo & 28025 TR, I'm going back to 28008 TR for good!

Will not flash my phone anymore.
Too many flash later takut nanti I brick my phone pulak.

Short Review On 21887 TR:
* Call history is working perfectly.
* Ending calls has no hanging problem.
* No line disconnect bug before making a call.

Although I've yet to sync my X1 with my PC yet to recover all contacts. Touch wood...

Agent already said that the call problems have to do with 28205 build, so it doesn't matter if it's TR or LEO.

Hopefully MS or anyone else will provide a fix to the problem, since I prefer the bottom taskbar.

Windows Mobile 6.1: Don't Know.
Windows Mobile 6.5: Valkyrie 21887 TR
Windows Mobile 6.5.3: Valkyrie 28008 TR

Owh & by the way guys, the HSDPA morning death doesn't occur on Valkyrie 21887 TR.
Woke up this morning, the phone wakes up from standby mode perfectly.

I'm not going to say it's the most stable since I don't use any other ROM's except those from Valkyrie & Energy but it certainly is the most stable ROM I've test to date.

Well.. I've tested the Oobly's ROM (6.1).. it works fine in everything I've tested... maybe if i've the time i'l list down like tompok82 too btw.. it doesnt take up alot of battery

using touch it 28205 now.. tiny bug i dun know and i dun even care anymore.

only 2 things i want to mention.. the dialer is so crazy, but at least usable. when i calling 'johhny', the dialer juz stuck and show previous caller.

like i called abc b4 calling johnny. when i calling johnny, it show abc phone number, photo, and abc (name).. but once connected. it is johnny phone. real swt.

1 more is old windows live is cooked in. n i think this version push mail is not reliable enough. it juz did push as mail arrived.

Furthermore, i used touchit few times. and i noticed that.. Restore text messages using myphone is painfully slow on touch it. but this problem din occur on any other rom. valkyrie restore like 10 sms in 2 sec.. touch it like 1 sms in 1 sec

2 New ROMs from agent_47

Hey guys, jus something about switch on bluetooth as discoverable mode.. i duno is there any1 found tis out yet.. but jus to share here.
i believe there must b ppl feeling annoiying to switch on bt den go to advanced option to tick tat option to show to all.
so i get use of the Windows Default CComm program files by making some simple modification to one of the .mscr file + MortScript.

here's the steps:

1. Download and extract out the .mscr file tat i attached here.
2. Copy and Paste it into the \Program Files\CComm\ in phone memory. (it wont and u dont nid to replace any files)
3. Select the file, tap File > >>>>> > Create shortcut.
4. Create shortcut for it to \Windows\Start Menu (so that it can be access from start menu too).
5. Then it can be added into the Manila shortcut tab too.

Press once, bt on as discoverable mode, press again to off.

PS: For Valkyrie ROM only, unless the other ROM that u using have CComm application and MortScript too.
Btw, im using Valkyrie 5.1 TR.

there're so many NEW ROMs.. have anyone tried any of them yet?

I'm using 28014 Leo.
So far so good.
The bugs from the previous 28014 Leo has been ironed out.

Another question, if i wanna flash my rom to Valkyrie 21887 TR, so i need to flash my phone to Windows 6.5 1st??? or just straight flash the valkyrie???? confusing~ (btw, mine is ori SE rom, din hav any flashing exp )
