Argh, I'd wish for it to be solved, I really love the Facebook feature.

As for the humming thing, I find it is quite ok. The trick for me is to make sure that my timing is ok. But since you follow a sound source, then I don't know what's the problem. It is able to detect most of the songs I hum, but of course hip-hop and rap songs are rather impossible.

Anybody tried the max manila mod?

I'm currently on max mod 2.6b, pretty nice and handy. Love the double clock effect and the multiple shortcuts, although agent has ady cooked in the 16 shortcuts.

According to NRG, Max Manilla works better when cooked in the ROM. You may try the new EnergyROM with Max Manilla and Dusk cooked in. I think it will have better speed performance.

I would suggest lurking around Garage Sales for some really good 2nd hand deals. Lately I've been seeing a lot of threads selling few months old original X1 at ridiculously low prices.

Really make me regret buying my X1 so early

Been doing that lately =D but i still have a little insecurity about buying a circa RM1k 2nd hand item online . Wont know what is wrong with it until i've used it for a while. And honest sellers are hard to come by these days.

Are there any other options? New original is about 1.8k am i right? Thats crazy expensive . Are there any mobile plans that allow for the X1 to be purchased? Something like the iphone plan?

Nope, Malaysia don't have this kind of plan.

Honestly la, even if you buy new set most likely you'll encounter build quality issues with the X1. Cracks, keyboard problem and recently the slide out ribbon problem is more and more common.

That is why for X1 I strongly recommend you to buy an original set, whether 2nd or not it's really up to you.

On the other hand, I found a nifty feature in TF3D!

For those of you who want to monitor the currency market, you'll notice that the Stock tab only offers certain countries to USD. There's a trick around it.

1. First, go to http://finance.yahoo.com/currency-converter

2. Select the currencies you want to compare. For example, I take Canadian Dollars against Malaysian Ringgit.

3. Click '5 Days Trend'

4. Copy down the words after 'Compare:' (Example: CADMYR=X)

5. Go to your Stock tab and Add Stock.

6. Type out the words you have copied down. (Example: CADMYR=X) Must be EXACT.

7. Select the search results and voila! You can regularly monitor the currency!

anyways money is on your hand, decision is yours, just my 2 cents.

The thing is, i feel that based on what i read and based on specs, the X1 is the best value for money Winmo device with a QWERTY keyboard. It has the best of both HTC, and SE in it. You can use HTC touch flo, and SE xpanels. Spec wise, battery level is better than its equivalent HTC counterpart (touch pro). Spec wise, it rivals even the Touch Pro 2 in certain aspects, except maybe the accelerometer. Any other device to recommend that can match the X1?

I thought SE in UK already changed the design of the cracked case to prevent cracks from happening? Not done here ah?
