QUOTE(The Apprentice @ Sep 25 2009, 05:19 PM) what grip do u mean?if u mean body grip, both r similar in body size, the grip sure not much difference QUOTE(raptorclans @ Sep 25 2009, 09:09 PM) Hey guys, any views on the Metz mecablitz 48 AF-1 speedlite ar? I was browsing online and stumbled upon it... does seem tempting. Wonder how it fares against the SB-600 and Nissin Di866... well, it depends on what functions n flash power u nidMetz 48 is similar to SB600 in specs, but cheaper than SB600, but the quality is competitive to SB600 Di866 however is high power flash like SB900 at the price close to SB600 n Metz48 quality n functions wise, Metz & Nikon r better but if want powerful flash on par with SB900, get Di866 Jz my opinion QUOTE(ck77 @ Sep 25 2009, 09:14 PM) Guys, am a D40 user and gonna shoot my company event next week in a hotal ballroom. Would like to ask for you guys opinion for which combination is most suitable for the event:- i think u dun quite nid 18-200, cos it is an indoor event n u'll be shooting portraits n group pics, hardly nid to zoom1. Di622 with 18-55 2. Di622 with Sigma 18-200 3. Di622 with 35 1.8 Thanks in advance. unless u nid to zoom up to the stage la if there is 1... 35 1.8 will be my choice, but if take group pics u nid step back a few steps la 18-55 is more flexible, can zoom in or take group pics easily but 35 1.8 pics output r nicer Jz my humble opinion Added on September 25, 2009, 10:04 pm QUOTE(kimurastanley @ Sep 25 2009, 09:55 PM) 'selling', not 'going to sell' lasince u 'got' your D90 d, not 'getting' it finally u made the big leap! congratz! although i know the news from D90 thread d keep your D60 as backup cam la, y sell when u bought D90 d... most ppl sell b4 buying for funds... or u want to fund for new lenses? Im planning to change systems... i bought my Olympus just not too long ago and out pops a D3000.... haihz... shouldve waited... QUOTE(FallInLov3 @ Oct 2 2009, 04:39 PM) QUOTE(FallInLov3 @ Oct 2 2009, 04:49 PM) Agree too. aiya, u got D90 d worry no money meh... Moments that you took your photo is really important, as without AF-S, it's really a fuss and missed out alot of nice shot. But, if with a non-af ability body, manual focus is the way, until you upgrade to next body which will have built in af motor =) 50mm 1.8 banyak cheap lor, with D90 u can autofocus somemore i nid buy the AF-S 50mm leh, price can buy 4x50mm 1.8 lor btw, i tot i n bro illegaldragon poison u external flash? |

QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Oct 6 2009, 10:56 PM) f/1.8 compared to f/1.4 a lot of difference eh? The one under RM500 is also without motor right? What's the keyword for lenses with and without motor? AF-S is with build-in motorBtw, I think I'm changing my body soon.. After I learn the basics and after Nikon's workshop.. AF-D is auto focus capable using in camera body motor pls check 1st page post for technical terms meanings |

not saying SB600 cant CLS
is u cant CLS using SB600 with D40/D40x/D60/D3000/D5000 must use SU-800/SB-800/SB-900 as commander only u can CLS using SB600 unless u count off camera flash is CLS oso then use off-camera flash cord trigger or wireless flash trigger can oso QUOTE(FaezFarhan @ Oct 9 2009, 03:12 PM) both got pros n consfunctions n power Di866 exceeded SB600 but reliabality n quality SB600 wins n currently Di866 got some software issues which may be fix with future software upgrade u can ask raptorclans about its performance who owns D5000 n recently jz purchased Di866 Pics spam from today's(9th October actually) visit to Taman Orkid & Taman Bunga Raya~ » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by General_Nic: Oct 10 2009, 01:22 AM |

QUOTE(maxh3h3 @ Oct 10 2009, 09:17 AM) i dont think you should compare a sb600 to a nissin di866 . ppl compare Di866 with SB-600 is becos of the similar price rangedi866 is not made to challenge sb600. It is a replacement to the expensive sb900. d40 gang need s a commander to do cls which this nissin big bro can act as commander the way sb800/sb900 can play its role. i did some reviews, i m gonna grab a nissin soon i guess,a di866 and a a couple of cheap di622 = good enough to have alot of fun without burning a hole in your pocket. most know that of cos Di866 is similar to a cheaper SB900 but the problem is Di866 is a 3rd party brand thats y they ask Di866 or SB600 is better QUOTE(exiakitt @ Oct 10 2009, 12:13 PM) in this forum section u nid to upload your pics to image hosting site such as Flickr, Photobucket, Imageshack or othersthen copy the image link from there n paste in your post, the image will appear This post has been edited by General_Nic: Oct 10 2009, 01:18 PM |
