QUOTE(albnok @ Sep 28 2009, 01:19 AM) hezda: Yes, the 70-300mm G is very good. Sharp wide open with nice bokeh. Hmm...but isnt quite sad when u need sufficient light to see its performance? is it the same for 70200 then? coz when i try 70200, it is much better..maybe 200mm? confused~SpOOkY: I found it sharp at 300mm but you must have sufficient light. Indoors, in a Sony Style/Sony Center, it won't shine. It is also a heck lot sharper than other lenses at 300mm. QUOTE(ianho @ Sep 28 2009, 01:39 AM) Dont forget testing lens inside shops can give u weird results coz of the fluorescent lighting. The flicker can frighten u when u see a rm8000 lens showing a screwed up exposure. lol, i was trying 5dmk2 + 24-105mm in vivo city and a few shots were overexposed.....i assumed that something was wrong with that machine because this is the first time a 5dmk2 let me down |

QUOTE(hezda @ Sep 28 2009, 08:14 AM) True true... but lens is a very expensive, just to make sure... I know about shutter speed and i shot it at generally high shutter with SSS turned on. It is not considered low light, besides, i even place it on a table....I'll be using it for outdoor shot, I guess this lens won't suitable for wedding... Thanks... I'll be getting this lens next month or 2, depending on how fast they can get me the stock. Added on September 28, 2009, 8:16 am The longer the end the more it will shake and thus you will need lower shutter speed in low light which will affect quality if you are not using tripod. Besides, you are comparing a FIXED aperture lens with a normal G lens... |
