going to get touch 2 tmr from a seller in garaga sales section...hopefully he dun cheat me...then tmr i'll be official touch 2 user

yes...got my new touch2 at rm1260 after seller say he exclude the micro sd card from the package...

anything need to check before i start using this machine?

1. make sure you are on data unlimited. if not you should install modaco no data Download here to disabling your GPRS.

2.how to install, just copy the nodata.cab file into your storage card ( install active sync on your pc 1st <Download here> , after installation of ActiveSync just connect your Touch2 to PC ) copy nodata.cab to your storage card then execute the cab files, follow your touch2 screen instruction to complete the installation.

3.once done, just run the NoData to disabling your GPRS.

guys, i noticed if v r using the default ring tone that htc provide will be no problems for not ringing le....wat the....

after disable the GPRS, mms cant run?

well no issue with ringtone here, i removed the hotfix already and still the same (hotfix has some coding issue with it) even with gprs disable, once internet connection is need, it will auto dial and disconnect

i'm using leather case ..pdair leather case. for screen protector i'm using capdase's.

haha..my touch2 still naked with out any sp and case..but compare to my previous dinosaur asus p535...this new toy really lighter a lot..

dunno any1 of u got this problem b4 or not which when u touchflo to the music section it will come out some errors~

this is the problem i encounter when sometimes i scroll to the music application..anyone experience it before?

I cannot install a lot of programs that I want to. When I run the cab or exe, the phone also prompts "installation unsuccessful". I checked the memory, there's still a lot.

@dokidoki, that has something to do with the mp3 as ringtone hotfix
@hagiri_11, applications like? usually it ask the user where to install the file

disabling gprs will not stop the mms fuction.

if your cab installing not complete while you try to install next cab this unsucessful error will popup.
try softreset your device.

@Lacus - When I tap on the installer/install from my pc, the phone asks me whether to run the program or not. Then, when I tap Yes on my phone, it runs for a bit, then the "Installation Unsuccessful" error pops up.

@Evil puppy - Soft Reset doesn't solve the problem. Any other solutions?

hmm, another way is to hardreset the phone. (warning, all data will be gone) hold the volume button and switch on the unit at the same time, a boot up menu will appear and ask if to hard reset or not. press volume up to hard reset.

my touch 2 cant access my home wireless. last time i need to set the ip manually for my nokia. and it work. for window mobile, i set the ip manually at START>SETTING>CONNECTION>WI-FI>WIRELESS NETWORK>NETWORK ADAPTER>BROADCOM 802.11 NETWORK ADAPTER. but then i checked the ip of the hp at START>SETTING>CONNECTION>WI-FI>ADVANCED> ADVANCED, it still the old one. the new one cant be use. can anyone help. thanks.

weird maybe your router is not set to DHCP which assign ip to each devices automatically.
