mine free user hotfile max dl is 40KB/s and rapidshare max is 35KB/s .... full time been throttle ....... call to tm also useless.....

damm my workplace paid more than RM1k per month for youtube and google capping. Even the SHDSL line got capped.. really not worth it..

Ok now my streamyx throttling has been reset since early of this January.
Is that throttle again when I downloaded the limit? so I'm going to count now how much I'm download until I'll get capped again.

Is that capped RESET every 1st of month? When you get throttled you will be auto reset 0 after end of month, Am I right?

I think they have stopped throttling those with HSSB will 100% sure being throttled since this infra is for them

do u mean 1 single connection or 1 file accelerated with multiple connections?

I have tested download from megaupload and mediafire, able to max out connection around 500kbps and slightly less (coz capped at 4096 only)...

Weekdays 7am-7pm is max speed..can get 180KB/s++
7pm-7am is 200kbps - 600kbps = 20KB/s-60KB/s ++

Sat & Sun FULL day throttle = 20KB/s-60KB/s +

FTP @ 1500 kbps to 2000kbps from one server

HTTP @ 5120kbps

Able to max out my FTP using parallel download from multiple servers using ip 115.xxx and also premium ip 218.111.xxx

Meaning download from different 4 to 5 servers to enjoy full ftp speed 5120kbps

I think i just been capped this week. All the time i been d/l max 170Kbps, and suddenly, down to 50Kbps.

Funny thing is, the speedtest.net results still show 1+ Mbps (below is the test one minute ago)




could i have a settings problem or is this a temporary thing - i see plenty of TM people doing service and repairs along the roads nearby.

D/L speed now around 50Kb only

Maybe i should call TM and ask them to reset the port or something...

useless..they capped all download things.. i feel very piss off... and nothing can do..
