I have the 3GS for awhile and recently the X6 for less a week...

1st impressions are that Nokia just cannot touch Apple for OS smoothness...
X6 just feels like a sleeker version of the 5800 due to the capacitive touchscreen, I have had the 5800 for about half a year, I can tell the difference. The X6 also has kinetic scrolling which was something only available to iPhone or the Android phones. But with the recent launch of firmware V 40.0.005 for the 5800 that kinda levels it for the X6.

My biggest gripe is the lack of RAM in the X6, 128MB only, same with the 5800. For example, if I play music, surf the net and open the music store at the same time the unit will say insufficient memory... big boo boo especially after what the Nokia rep told me that the X6 is a true multitasking smartphone unlike the iPhone. Give me smooth running mono tasking phones any day!

The comes with music service is a great concept, only if it wasn't so heavily DRMed! You can only play downloaded music on ONE phone and ONE PC!!!
That sucks sour frog ass! So much for sharing tunes... still, u can find a whole lot of great music there, but only expect to find clean Radio friendly versions if u know what I mean.
Still it is miles better than that bimbit.com free 1000 songs crapfest!
The free headphones are a big help for the X6's music capabilities as the shit earphones that came with the 5800 are the worst I have ever seen for a music phone.

The apps available for the S60 touch are rudimentary at best and let's not even talk about the Java games that look like Microgenius knockoffs.
This is where the iPhone totally pwns the X6... the Apple app store is something Nokia will try to beat but will probably never succeed...

I know I sound like an Apple fanboy and u will probably say that since I spent so much on the iPhone I will sing its praises but for the record, both devices are gratis for me, and therefore I am able to give an objective opinion on them... Even if I had to choose to buy one of them with my cold hard cash, I know which one I would spend my money on and it's not the one with the bigger box.

Oh yeah, just want to say thanks to Nokia for the X6! I'm not knocking u guys!

You're talking about the warrenty card right?

I asked about this during the Nokia Music Explorer's night and they said not to worry about it. All the IMEIs of the phones that night are already registered under Nokia. So i guess u can just go to a shop and get them to search ur IMEI in their database.

if ur not using much data usage, just surf whenever u want to instead of leaving it on whole day, it can last 1-2 days... but if ur using heavy data, half a day gone adi lol...

i need ram booster!
if someone knows how to hack this phone i will be so thankful.

btw, i love to see all the songs in my phone are properly organized because all the songs are LEGALLY downloaded from Ovi Store.

For me, the battery life is terrible.

I went for an event last nite and was live twitting + taking photos + twitpic running only 1 app Gravity (which is awesome btw) and it only lasted from like 6.30 till around 11.30. this is on full charge. Dissapointed.

Hvnt tried listening to music on it constantly tho

the battery music usage only was really2 good btw..

im on much lesser usage for data and it can hold almost 2 days with me listening to music all day long.

me bought it...i dont think there is any piracy available for gravity la..anyway its a real worth software to buy. need to support the person who created it. plus he is coming out with alot more better updates for the software. i have been using it for a very long time now. about a year. and it has never dissapointed me at all. it keeps getting better.

price was USD9.95.

lol... i said COD for case since the case is plastic so kinda fragile... but if u still insist on posting it i will help u bubblewrap it for u... but any damage cost during postage is not my fault... so it's up to u...

oh yeah... with heavy usage as sms , music , games , read pdf and wifi... my hp last me 1day cukup cukup... ^^ i think battery life span wise... although using the same battery as 5800 but it's definitely last more longer than 5800...

bekos of battery issue and RAM so limited i use my X6 mainly for music and game only and my main phone is the powerful N900.

if i go to the event earlier that night i might be able to demo N900 for u guys

it's oil rubberized case ( it's a plastic case but with rubberized on top of it...something like high class crystal case lar... )... >.> that's why i asked for COD so u can feel it and touch it on the spot... ^^ i dont want to be called "con artist" later...
