This seems like the perfect music phone for me. One thing that I'm not comfortable is the selling price probably not worth for the package.
I'm so envy with you guys who got this device free! Anyway, how is the speed / music player playback? Is it fast? Is the skipping through tracks smooth? I don't want to buy a music phone that has a bad music player. |

guys... i want yr opinion..
I personally feel the build quality can be of higher quality for a phone this expensive.. i feel its.. abit too.. loose.. the parts dont fit together perfectly.. and why oh why nokia did u replace the awesome touch sensitive buttons like on the 5530 with REAL buttons.. damnnn... the touch sensitive buttons on the 5530 are AWESOME.. and here you actually have to.. PRESS.. yer.. kinda spoils the experience abit for me.. |

QUOTE(tunertoobe @ Jan 15 2010, 11:35 PM) as far as i experienced, its gapless. dunno bout crossfading. i can't find one.the phone is awesome, but the built quality... quite surprising its not very sturdy, except for the metal frame. the plastic part not good enough. dunno bout retail version quality since almost everyone here get their X6 from event last night. demo @ testing unit maybe? maybe this phone high price tag is because of that comes with music service. who in this world want to give u almost all latest + old song for free, unlimited? that service must include in the price. |

And yeah I so totally agree with you, the 3 buttons when I press back my 5800 punya it feels so solid, this one looks like its gonna come out if pressed too much. I am trying to use everything on screen. I occasionally press the green button to go to my recently dialled list. |

Aik? AFAIK gapless playback is missing from all s60 music player....personally this isn't a deal breaker to me.. But i've found something that makes me facepalm... X6 music player come from the tweaked player on the N97 n N97 mini...different with the plain vanilla music player on 5800 n the gang, the second entry in the option softkey doesn't hve the freaking SEARCH button....In the N97 case, the omission can be justified as they hve hardware keyboards to allow on searching throughout the music library by just typing...BUT ON X6, there is no keyboard and hence NO way of searching in the music player itself |

There are many albums that were made to sound right gapless. As if the songs in there are non-stop. I guess a 3rd party player needs to be installed then that supports cross fading.

Haven't test yet on X6, but tried it on my ol' 5800 and its quite good |
