Hmm.. but i tot we're not able to to press down the shutter release button if subject is not focus locked or no "beep" sound in AF?
Unless the lens is giving false focused signal to camera?

Well it looks similar, but the differences show in 100% of the original photos..
Thus, i compiled the ori jpeg extract from raw using nx viewer to a web host server,

I think, mayb f22 will reduce the sensitivity of metering thus giv a not-so-clear focus??
I snapped both pic wif autofocus.
for f22, i snapped bout 3pics using the same setting (camera autofocus each time) n hav similar result, which is softer. Mayb it's the metering fault?

ya..i got ur point ^^..thanks...coz i'm using the 18-105 mm lens, so if i take  the bottom of the glass then the object to far from the screen...will upgrade the lens once i have $$ ...

Yeah shld be red.Nikon is tend to more red and that why the skin like burned.

I think you need aRGB monitor and aRGB printers to see the different color gamut. Have you also tried using different picture controls. There is Standard, Neutral and Vivid I think. I also think you can still adjust each picture control to your liking. You can change the hue and saturation, sharpness etc etc.

hi everyone

I'm currently having a dilemma between these 3 nikon models, d3000, d5000 and d90

for what i noticed right now is that d90 have a separate dial wheel for setting the aperture, taking hd video, top lcd panel and the body got build in af motor.

currently i'm using my brother's d90 with kit lens for learning purposes and I actually quite like it. the only complaint from me is that i felt it's quite heavy for me to hold it for long hours

is there a big differences when i take a picture using these 3 camera with the same lens?
sorry for my noob question, as I have very limited knowledge on photography
