Proclaimer: before we recommend you anything, i would like to know what is missing in your 18-55 that makes u wana change to tamron 17-50..or u just want to try the tammy lens?

IINM mAh does affect recharging time...but are u an event shooter? for casual shooter like me, my sony cycle energy is good enough...

i can shoot more than 1k with sb600 (not full blast of course)...its cheaper than eneeloop....

shockk: oh...I see, i think it may be more obvious when used in full blast, however, for normal used, i dont think i neeed super high mAh.

fyi, i am not recommending one to take super high mAh, my sony is only 2000mah IINM hahahh.more than enuf la..(for me la)

try sony cycle energy with Low Self Discharge (LSD) technology too...RM80 4 batt + charger...i have left my batt for months without any problem:)

I am having some issue with my D90 and I am unsure if it is supposed to behave like that.

Say if I shoot with QUAL = RAW+FINE. I should be seeing 2 files in my SD Card right? 1 .NEF and 1 .JPG.

However, I only see 2 .JPG such as below:
If I delete either one, and refresh the folder, it will show only 1 .NEF instead of 2.


things were abit different if I use Nikon Transfer (provided software), it will show that I have only 1 pic but after transfer, there will be 2 pics, 1 .NEF and 1 .JPG

Does this mean that nikon can only use nikon transfer and not cut and paste directly from the folder?

That explains the price of 18-105 . I have tried Sony 18-70, Canon 18-55 and Nikon 18-105...no doubt this is the most awesome one...if use properly la...my noob shot from kitlens:

F/5.6
ISO 800
157 mm (35mm equiv.)

It is not normal .perhaps the previous buyer bought the body but they din have the body only set that time..

and i havent heard of any replacement thus far....

i like the true colors it brings ...i often find that flash gives better colors/contrast too

fisherman10: if you dont mind my comments, i dont like the top of the pic where you chopped off the mountain...besides, there are some blue tints at the top too...

yeah, i learned my lesson in stitching too...that is why i will shoot super lots of photo for panorama

that is pretty weird for 12pm when the sun is supposed to be around 5500k ...which is almost WHITE in color..well...perhaps you can investigate what's wrong there ...
CPL is not a must i think and lens hood helps in controlling flare but not colors isnt it? correct me if im wrong

do u have d90? do u have sb600?
wireless flash is taught in the manual..
however, just switch on wireless mode on ur sb600,
then set ur channels in ur d90 and sb600..
pop up ur flash and u are good to go with wireless flash....
