Hi guys, i saw this media player in All IT today. Labelled price is Rm359.
The guy in the shop offer me Rm320, though.
the player can support MKV, RMVB and other standard formats.

Would like to check if any of you here knew about this player, and is it any good?
I know the Clamul player sucks at not being able to playback many of the MKV files.
So i'm thinking twice about this player now. (Should have carried with me a pendrive with some MKVs to test)
So far this is the cheapest 1080p i have seen that support MKV and RMVB together.

Tried google already. Not much info about it, in fact none.
No website stated on the box when i snapped its photo in the shop.

Yup, scare end up like the Clamul player.

For RM 320 tag... if the performance is good.. WDTV cud be in trouble..

the specs not yummy enuff for me... no mention of DTS Downmix or Pass Thru.. got no picture for connections at the back??

As I always say, the hardware is one thing.....updates in firmware is also important...so if the website also difficult to find...how do you think the support will be?

i got it at Rm299. now is testing on it. no DTS sound

so it's like WDTV, no internal DTS decoding? what about bitstream?

Eagerly await your FR on it

1 hdmi port, 2 usb, optical, no internal dts decoder (due to licensing and price issue)
no composite video port but have component port
almost similar to WD one

yea, but WD doesn't play RMVB rite?

The original WDTV does not but the new WDTV Mini does

Take note the WDTV mini doesnt c/w HDMI port and no full HD.

like this it is just another normal China media player.

Yes, and at a price too. The mini's RRP is RM339
