Trying to find a very recent article I think(a few weeks old or so) about SAF commenting on our midfield and that he was looking at Fletcher to dictate play/tempo of our game for over a year now or so.. any one remember that article?
Had no luck so far searching.

Ronaldo Vs Tevez

Different circumstances lah buddy. Nobody really appreciates that Tevez respected the rivalry between Pool and United, and for the love of the fans, decided against moving to our more, intense, rivals.

Realistically speaking, Pool are more of a threat than City, and the hatred between both sides are well and deep, so i for one keep a closed eye on that one. It wudve been far more painful for us if he had joined them and helped them put one over us, than Owen joining us and doing the same to them. At least Owen was known as a wash out before he joined us!

Foster

Anyways, on a different note, i dono how much longer i can take foster. Hes a bit extreme. He makes unsaveable saves, then he goes on to make his howlers. Sigh. But as United fans, we shud support whoever under whatever circumstances right?

Lampard vs Fletch

On the debate between Lampard and Fletch, ive always always said Lamps was a great player. Even in his WestHam days, it was pretty obvious back then, plus Chelsea poured out 11mil quid to acquire his services, and thats alot!
Fletch...i dono ... its still hard to see him as a star midfielder till he puts away the goals ala Lampard. Although i think hes about to hit top form, so for me, with regards to fletch, the verdict is not out yet... mebe at the end of the season?
Nice argument by Wan though. Wan, ill sponsor you tickets to OT if he wins us the CL this season biggrin.gif

United on Hi-Def
Guys, ive jus experienced it! SkySports HD...Uniteds games ... really ... mindblowing stuff. I just dloaded it via rapidshare! it was a 2.2gb file but it was AWESOME !!! u can hear the stadium loud and clear, and the clarity was magnificent, so ... trust me.. youve got to start gettin the matches in HD. Ill be dloading all the good matches this season in HD smile.gif Trust me guys, ud love it!

We have to remember this is Foster's first really full season for us. He had a shaky start against Chelsea, but since then he's been solid(6-8 games), until the City game where he made three mistakes(which two resulted in goals, although I would say his leg slipped on the last goal he conceded). He has already look like a United regular GK to me, and if he managed to put that City game out of his mind and not do anymore mistakes(well, if he only has one bad game out of every 10-20 games, that's OK) in his next run as our GK till VDS gets back, it's his.

Lampard was good, not great IMO. I remember seeing him for England where he didn't look like a great midfielder, only last few seasons he seemed to finally stamp his mark there for England. His career take a really big step in his 3rd season at Chelsea after Roman came into the picture.

On Fletcher's case, I won't hold it against you or maybe I'll downgrade it to a teh tarik type of deal. Haha. Fletcher won't ever be as prolific as Lampard. He just don't have the technique of striking the ball and have the composure as good or even near Lampard/Gerrard. But he's been getting forward a lot and having chances in games. It won't surprise me if he gets around the 10 goals mark if he continues to play like he has so far which would be a great return. He's not a star, never have been, and probably never will, but he's right now is our most important players alongside Rooney and the defenders. If he continues to give us match winning performances, which is almost Kean-esque, like he has last few seasons, he will have a place up there in the stars.

BTW, where did you get your RS premium account? Mine just expired, and I need another one. Can't find it anywhere so far..

Yeah. He will play an important role for us, like Tevez did last season. 30+ games minimum. He's got two already in the league. That's a good start. Just need 3 more to equal Tevez's total in the league for last season. He need another 8-13 in the league for me. Going by the amount of goals flying in the league so far, and the way we play this season, he will get plenty of goals, along with the rest of our players.

So VDS is out for another 3 weeks according to SAF. Looks like Foster has another chance to win over the fans, or lose SAF's confidence in him. Up to him now to grab the chances given to him. He has 3 more games before VDS gets back(got international break again ar after 3rd Oct until 17th Oct?)

It is a golden opportunity for Foster to have SAF's faith.....
The boy is talented but just lack of experience to handle certain circumstances.... plus the media around him of course will bring more pressure...

However.. PIG is also a keeper we must not forget.... We are far more better in term of GK department .. the worst time(the one I could remember) was when we had Roy Carroll and Tim Howard...

Though talented especially Tim Howards but sometimes there are other factors affecting their game play... considering that they are not only bound to the match pressure but also facing a 75k crowd almost every week plus the media ........

It is never easy
*
He has the ability no doubt. It's just a case of his mental side now and big game temperament, along with his decision making(will improve with time/games). A good way to judge their mental aspect is after they had a bad game or make a bad mistake whether they would hide into their shell or play on like normal. Stoke game will be a good opportunity to test that, although if we look back after the Chelsea game he seems fine.

haha..i've had enough...

match in HD?whooa..gotta download that..thanks for the link anyway. smile.gif  smile.gif

hey guys,
just some question,
calling other football team as a weak team, show that the person underestimate the team rite?
we should never do that..I'm just saying..coz it show how immature you are.right guys? brows.gif  brows.gif
never take things for granted.

Depends on the way it is used. If we say Liverpool are weak, then we are disrespecting them because Liverpool are a pretty strong team. But if we mean it say for Wolves/Stoke etc, it just means they're not as good as us and other top clubs or those rated higher than them. But that doesn't mean we take things for granted, because throughout history it shows being weak doesn't mean that team doesn't stand a chance in a one on one situation.

6 in 6 for Wazza, he sure is in a good run of form! Found these stats on RedCafe, regarding the date's of Wayne hitting 6 goals in each season:

04/05: February 5th.
05/06: December 3rd.
06/07: December 12th.
07/08: January 19th.
08/09: January 14th.
09/10: September 20th

Very interesting.
he's on 7/8 now right in almost as many games. That's great. His record for England is just as good if not better too I think.

We don't make use of many long throws these days. Those days our strikers all can head the ball. These days, not so much.

They're physical, but they also have good players, I think. They made a lot of good signings since they came to EPL. They have Tuncay too, and Beattie who was good for them last season.

That would be great, although it's illegal. Could be caught! tongue.gif Would be nice though if someone could do it, and we pay them per game/dvd. Would be a nightmare mind.. those video stuff surely would be huge and takes ages to burn etc..
