now u know that JC - jersey collector.

and there are a few types of jerseys.

fakes = fake jerseys bruce.gif
replica = official merchandise manufactured by nike / adidas / puma / kappa / umbro for sale to supporters.

@retrosnare, it's alright to make mistake, at least u admit it and are willing to learn the right terms/ meanings. But if you do read the first page, in fact the first post itself, it is stated this forum is for discussion about:

1. Football replica or player issue jerseys/shorts/socks
2. Football training jerseys/shorts/socks
3. Namesets (NNs) and patches

Also this:

Make sure that none of the things below are mentioned:

1. Talking/discussing about fake jerseys/patches/gear
2. Flaming and causing stir/arguing with another LYN member
3. Any racial abuse or football clubs sentiment
4. Anything that is against the general rules of this forum.

Therefore it is obvious to say that replica and fake are two different thing. there's a reason why Schmeichel7 compile everything and put it in the first page right? But nvm, now u know and will continue using the right term to address the right thing smile.gif

About player issue kits, it is very wide as well. price ranges from GBP20 up to GBP100, depending on how many are available on market and rarity.

Player issue jerseys are not cheap. It's at least about RM 400. You can always start with replicas, all of us start with that. You can post it here no problem.

yeah i guess that's the problem with the newcomers to the thread. you should always look around and read up abit before getting into the discussions.
try reading the first page especially. there is a whole lot of information there.

well not always at least rm400. u can sometimes get lucky as pyroboy said above.
i got my player issue jersey for 30pounds if i remember correctly.
u have to be very patient with this hobby. just wait abit, it will definately come around someday.

oh and another tip, do be extra extra careful with ebay. if u play safe, it's a gold mine for jerseys smile.gif

if any wants cheap PI kits, u can easily head to county_murchman on ebay and see his few PI kits, for example Aston Villa, Liverpool and Holland Limited Edition kits that are going for waaay cheap. we're talking about circa GBp15 here. also Newcastle and Chelsea depending on availability, as well as some small league clubs.

The question is not on ori or not because EPL patches prior to the Champions 1996-1997 were not trademarked to anyone (no TM Logo near the EPL Lion's tail). This is more to is it accurate or not.

My answer is, there is only one EPL champions patch that is embroidered and that is worn by United in the 1993-1994 season where they first did the EPL and FA Cup double. That is the only one and it is written as CHAMPIONS 1992-1993:

The patch that you are referring is the CHAMPIONS 1993-1994:

The correct one should be velvet not embroidered:

There is a guide on the EPL patches used by United in my-fjc. You can check there.

Mines is Made in Morocco... Portugal? I thought the portugal ones are mostly PI...

But it's not surprising if they too made the replica ones.

If you are asking about the Made in Thailand one.. that is the fake version that is almost similar but is fake.. and the red devil logo looks like a cockroach..

It was discussed before.. way back in 2008... anyway if you want to see it again:

QUOTE
I got a pm from a friend who asked me to check if this Man United 08/09 white away jersey is authentic or not.

Strangely the jersey is being sold for RM150 (very cheap) and is it 'Made in Thailand'. I said.. WTF? The original ones should be made in morocco.

Check out the photos:

1. The collars looks almost authentic.. It has the correct " >> UNITED <<" seams beneath the collars like the authentic one.

2. The club crest still looks fake.. The red devil logo looks fat and is poorly embroidered.

3. They even dared to imitate the washing tags for Asian Market! Stupidly.. there is no measurement on the China © and Korean (K) sizing.. Chinese measurement should have something like 185/100A and korean should have chest measurement such as 110. Blatantly imitated but looks almost the real thing.

4. More attempts to imitate the washing tags

5. And another scary attempt is to have the correct coloured barcode sticker (red for Large size). But the style code and colour code is totally wrong. Style code must have 6 digits (fake one has only 5) and colour code should begin with number 1xx for generally white kit (original one's colour code is 105) while the fake one is 408? (4xx is for blue). And also, the grey long tag should have manutd.com instead of nikefootball.com

Beware!

There is so subjective i think.... blush.gif
just depend on the condition, how rare the jersey in your viewing point, how you like the jersey......
