We don't play a game because it gets 40/40 from famitsu, not anymore atleast. ( Should I remind you of a quite recent , 40/40 game, a specific Black witch DMC action game...)

Ironically the only FF that manage to score 40/40 is the 12th Installment, but somehow it was the most incomplete out of them , which even the director admitted to rushing the final product.

Famitsu review is very limited to the first impression most of the time , it seems to hold a certain promise several years ago , nowaday it is mostly a combination personal P.O.V + brain juice $$$


I am pretty sure regardless of what Famitsu has to say , the game is going to sell 1 hella record as a PS3 game,
shall we not view the beginning of the glorious ,record ?

this Famitsu reviewer has been a little peculiar , at times.

Shall we look at his review record in the past for more historical reference?

He has given 10 to the following game :

Resident Evil 5
Last Remnant
fallout 3
COD 4
428 ( INFAMOUS WII AVG )



Judging from the record, its just as I said, 40/40 is no longer a big deal for famitsu, it probably takes more than Luck to achieve that. He is just stating the his worries,they gave FF12 40/40 for the record ,but it ends up being lack luster in the mid-end game ,I see no reason to doubt his review.

Though I would not exactly give any credits in most famitsu reviews anymore .

Though it is said, personal opinions are deeply involved, and could never be wrong or right

According to dengeki magazine, the PS3 version of XIII will feature

*Higher quality of audio and CGI ( than the 360 version )

*there is no disc reading time before and after combat!

*the expression of the char changes at the status display

*The most exciting and fast paced battle system in the FF series

*CutScenes are quite long, but has no influence on the gameplay

*Save point is extremely delicate

I hate to break this ,but this is a FF XIII thread, and is specifically marked under PLAYSTATION 3 category.

Leave the xbot worshipping to them xbot cultist ( unless you are 1 )

Dengeki has told us the PS3 VER has higher audio Qual :
Let's be happy with what we have, leave what xbot need to worry about to themself, instead of turning this into another xbot which ask for thread closure from the MOD at the end , pretty please?

They have not elaborate the details yet, however I guess they means the save point is going to be multi purpose, and full of details + surprises ,with delicate features

I am but I have not decide whether if it will be R2 or R3. Afterall what I really care is the game ,
according to to previous FF tradition, the game tend to leak several days earlier, especially right now they have the Asia version.



It is highly possible we didn't have to wait until 17th for the game, maybe on 14th or 15 th the game will already be leaked.

Of course , there are actually several people planning to get the Jap ver as well (Ninja ,gahleon,possibly danger46).

I will give you some big scoop on the gameplay features without hints on storyline as soon as I got the game

I doubt you will need much of my helps ,on the Game progressing segment.

Some lucky HK reviewer that happen to got the game earlier was saying that the game is extremely 'Import Friendly' , indicating the story is pretty linear for the first 20 hours of the game .
