how much and often do you mist a
-1" high 2.5" diameter tupperware
-1.5cm spider-ling (b.smithi)
-room temperature

this kind of thing is flexible , if you think need to mist it because the water dry up then mist it because the humidity around may be vary so it is all depend , but mostly 2 day mist 1 time ?

Not too much. It also depends on how much ventilation you got going. If it dries out too quickly, then give it a squirt. Eyeball the substrate and see that it is not dry but not dripping wet either. B. smithi is usually kept dry but as slings they require a little more moisture. Having a small container requires more monitoring and less room for error.

Squirt on the side- let it bead on the side so there are water droplets for the sling to drink. You can also spray the substrate - not all of it, leave a dry area for it to go to if it does not like the wet area. If you overdid it, you'll know- it will be hanging out on the side walls. tongue.gif

Just went out for a while and when i came back i saw (1cm) B.auratum just moulted successfully..

my rosea sling is also on its back.. Lying upside down now..

If i didn't read up on moulting i would have thought it was dying..

but they die by in a curl right?

so.. now all legs are facing upwards

I mist a bit on the side too

hope it moults successfully

Added on September 22, 2009, 6:05 pmhaiz..... i just checked my rosea.. It came out. But lost one of its 2nd left in its moult.. sakit hati now sad.gif

I pity it. now lame one leg. The leg will grow back in the next moult right?
