Yes ur right, new world t posses ability to kick urticating hair while old world prefer to bite If im nt mistaken old world t tend to be more defensive, more potent venom and less colorful compare to the new world

Not 100 percent correct. But close enough. Your B. smithi is a New World tarantula because it is from the "New World". "New World" as in the Americas- North, Central and South. As in, the so called "New World" discovered by Columbus. Generally speaking, most New World tarantulas have urticating hairs, a few don't.
