hahah i dont really give wrong info

maybe the way i present are not so good
as i know mostly exprience keeper should know what i mean ....... and should have this kind of knowledge also ....

hahaha perhaps that you are the one do not really understand ....... and dont really have a proper info ..

takan i need to explain so much ..... why tarantula cant really live in communal .. mostly only 1-10 out of all the sling can grow big untill adult size (in the wild)

why ...If the female gets pregnant she wont eat then once the babys are born the female will either eat the baby's or if the male sacrifices himslef the female will let the baby's live and eat the male!!!

they are mean to fight for live on the first day born ....
and yet they travel when still sling but once settle their burrow or hide out seldom they will travel anymore unless something happen ...

nowsday b.smithi is rather hard to find in the wild anymore ..... mostly are captive breed .... because they keep catching in the wild and mostly big one are easy to spot ..... and out of the 10 sling which able to survive in the wild they already caught by thoses commercial breeder or seller .

this is why b-smithi are getting rare in the wild .....

Thanks for the advise. My 1inch b.smithi sling currently have 2.5 inch diameter space to travel only. HAHA.  laugh.gif
So it is 2.5x time bigger only.  ohmy.gif
Thanks for the help.
1. My smithi currently have 2.5x its LS diameter enclosure (pics as attached). Will it be too crampy for the t ?  ohmy.gif
2. Will get some oats for grinding and some veggies for the mealworm beetles soon. Just found out that mealworms are easy to breed.  rclxms.gif
Hopefully my fish can have free food source in a few months time.

Still ok for current state, but you have to change the container maybe next or 2 more molt, depends on their size. I kept mine in the same way too. I hardly seen them move unless feeding time.

Ya, I got what you mean. Not all, but some bro. Some are hunters which prefer to walk around to hunt for food, example: T. Blondi; some prefer wait at their burrow/hide waiting for unlucky prey to pass by and triggle their "doorbell", example Thai Zebra.
There are still some tarantulas that can be kept communal too. Example: Pterinochilus murinus, Holothele incei
Correct me if I am wrong.

*Disclaimer* there are no communal Ts. Just cohabiting Ts which you eventually need to separate. (though i heard some pokies can be kept to over a few generations)

Great. Then I have 2-3 months more to find a nice 4inch container for my slings. Thanks.

yeap yeap .... correct .,,,,,.. but i lazy want to state out so many .... mostly exprience keep should know ..... as the name also bird eater ....

and yet for our CB Ts space are not important just make sure a good spacing for them to molt and have some walk i more thn enough in the wild they will hunt when they are really hungry ...

and i belive we the keeper are all good owner and feed them in proper time and never let them hungry .... so they will just stay where they are hahahaha ......

this is wht i though of la correct me is im wrong ..... (they will hun when is hungry or else just stay still .... hahahaha )

they don't move around much because they are keeping their metabolism rate low so that it does not waste energy on movement.

this helps them adapt with harsh environment where food and water are hard to come by.

the same goes when it is being captive breed, the nature of the animal stays with it, that is why we have no problem if our tarantulas don't eat for a week. (especially for desert species)

and so I heard, we don't need large area to make a tarantula happy. biggrin.gif
