alrite, now not the time to blame him, he is 1st timer. Give him a chance. Ok, now I think nearly can confirm that it hurt from the fall. Now what you can do is try to apply some glue to its wound. Better do it now, or it will die of bleeding continuously. And all the best bro.

and ya cannot blame people also you also handle your first time before ./.........

and this is where we learn ....... people only try them self thn only can learn if not people wont listen to people ...

but this incident shouldnt blame my first timer friend .... i think it actually healing but untill today i try to identified it then i think is where i hurt him more ..... and the death should blame on me ............ haizzz i hate my selft ........ should have let it alone untill it fully active and recover but there just too many factor for me and need to identified it go get the source

FYI i NEVER handle my tarantulas b4 except sometimes they escape and run onto my hand and that,i just use a container to cover it and make it go back to its container.
2nd,to try is to think 1st,not try b4 then think later.
Lastly human nature is a lame excuse for a mistake made.U r who u r and wat u r,so it is just u.
If is a 1st timer(which i dun knw 1st time handle tarantula or 1st time keep tarantula)i dun blame u.I just hope u or whoever learn dat handling is not good for Ts.
Hope u can update us wiv its condition and method(s) u used

true and yet learn to handle is a need for me .... i will need to know what is the best of thm since you are the t owner ... second i will need to learn to sexing thm . third like wht you said wht can or cant do if they try to escape. first you never get the chance to pick up a container to scooop thm up so atleast basic handle problem is a need scince our hand is softer thn container you will never know mistake will appeare like the container poked it abdoment .

as i say basic handle technique is a must for all tarantula keeper ... unleast you really wan to just make thm as disply item ..... thn i nothing say

Wat happen to its leg?

autotomy lu.... ,,,,, mean it have to give up it leg in oder to escape .... because it feel uncomfartable and feel to be at risk

In fact, i handled my 4inch B.Smithi the 1st day it arrived (Note, it's my 1st tarantula)
But i really dun think u shld keep asking ppl to forgive u by giving the same excuse, even drag till adam and eve

Btw aros amputated the immanis because fungus are growing on it legs, its to prevent it to spread

i found that they have good vibration sensor .. so i hear tht t cannot be train but in my opinion there will will be a way seen they can mate so they are comunicate with each other .... and yet i think only la hahahahahahaha dont lough la hahahah it can be train to recoginze vibration . ........

Yes they hav a good vibration sensor which use it for preying and alert about their surroundings.BTW they do hav a special communication method when they wanna mate.Try search youtube,there r alot of videos which show this.
BTW wat u wanna train to a T?Mind giving example(s)?Dun worry,we wont laugh at u(at least i knw is me )

train it

1. to pick up the dead cricket and leave it at the lid, now that's what i called

2. to Not to bite at the sight of your finger

3. to shake its abdomen when food's coming

4. to NOT to poo around the tank but on one designated spot

5. to NOT web around the lid.
