I agree. It's hard to picture anyone else wearing that number in Madrid white (or black or blue).

No player is bigger than Madrid although I'm sad but RM shouldn't freeze the number. He influenced me in many ways.. A true gentleman.. Damn, gonna be weird watching Raul play for another team. But he's departure made me love him more. Above all, the reason we support Madrid is because of the sport. Raul loves playing football and choose to depart instead of retiring as a legend. A tough move for a Talismanic man like Raul, a modern icon for Madrid, some even went as far as to call him Raul Madrid, a man that breaks almost every Madrid records and he choose not to end his career here? Why?
Because he knows by sitting on the bench he can't fulfill his passion, because deep down inside he still believes that he can offer much more to the sport he loves (and I believe it too), because for him, all these "legend" and "glorious ending" talks won't satisfy him, kicking the ball will, and he chose to do just that.. Respect!
EDIT: Oh ya, farewell to Guti as well. In one interview, I remember Zidane praised Guti week in and out after Guti assisted him with his backheel. He's one of the best passer of all time. I'm pretty much sure that Robinho, Raul, Higuain, and Ruud will agree with me.
Gonna miss them both so damn much! It sucks that this day finally arrives....
