Ok.. No issue here, icon_rolleyes.gif i know, winning is all about consistency.. consistently winning would assure u the title.. no doubt about that.. im just saying that, currently.. we are obviously 2nd best team in laliga behind barca and, IF we win the title.. im proud of team coz can win the title with the best barca team ever.. but, winning the title with losing both of clasicco is just not 'right'.. so to me.. if numbers could represent my level of proud..from 1 - 10.. i would choose 6.

what im trying to say is, absolute winning is more satisfying rather the condition i mentioned. simple isn't it. wink.gif

Yeah I don't think there's anything personal between us. Just some like to fan flames when there isn't any fire rolleyes.gif

I agree that if we won at least one clasico it would be more satisfying but they are just one-off games and they shouldn't detract you from enjoying a league title win. I mean for all the hype they are getting there's still a chance that Barca might end up empty handed which goes to show how fickle football can be sometimes. And I assure you that if we do actually win the league that it wouldn't dampen the celebrations at Cibeles one bit wink.gif

yup.. we are madridista.. so why fighting each other.. thumbup.gif Anyway.. back to match topic.. from the remaining games.. IMHO, barca would have slightly advantages than us. But, just like verx said.. anything can happen in football.. thumbup.gif

MW 34
Zaragoza VS R. Madrid
Barcelona VS Xerez

MW 35
R. Madrid VS Osasuna
Villarreal VS Barcelona

MW 36
Mallorca VS R. Madrid
Barcelona VS Tenerife

MW 37
R. Madrid VS Athletic
Sevilla VS Barcelona - too bad, sevilla is not as good as before doh.gif

MW 38
Málaga VS R. Madrid
Barcelona VS Valladolid

* red color - Potential dropping point match.

what u say guys.. hmm.gif.. indeed, all matches are improtant but, to me.. the most important match would be against Mallorca - Away.. hope we can win all remaining games to give barca a damn hard pressure all the way..

For teh lulz la bro,

United has won the league with being beaten by Citeh last year. Put Liverpool into the equation also.

Does that make Citeh > United?

or Liverpool > United?

Consistency is what defines a team's strength. Barca could win over you lots from time to time. Sure, it hurts your pride. Yet, it does hurt theirs when you are crowned champs. In the end, people won't remember much about the double on El Classico. People will keep on remember .. "Oh .. it was Real Madrid whom won the league in [insert year].."

My point is simple ..

Bragging rights in winning the league > bragging rights winning over your team.

Did u read all my previous post before posting? rolleyes.gif im just saying that satisfaction is more if we won in at least one of the clasicco. i bet, hell lot of your friend would said " alaa.. stakat menang liga tapi kalah ngan cleasea/liverpoll home and away wat per" rite? whistling.gif then u will answer.. "yang penting menang" doh.gif

It is more to self-satisfaction rather that winning is all that matter. I agree that history will not mention the best team every years, but people WILL remember the best team of the season... wink.gif

But the thing is, a derby is the most important match between both sides, especially Real Madrid and Barca.

If either team loses the derby, winning the title does not mean anything to them.

Simply put, even if Madrid wins the title, they lost the derby TWICE. The pride of winning the title is not so good since Madrid lost to Barca.

EDIT: Also another example from the Italian league, as I heard from my cousin (dunno if it applies to the La Liga as well) who is a Roma fan.

Roma vs Lazio the most important game in their fixture. If Roma does not win the derby, but they won the title, the fans would still hate the manager, due to losing the derby, the pride of Rome.

It is the most important match in some ways but you're overstating its significance. I can assure you that winning the title is far more important to Madrid than winning el clasico. The title won't taste as sweet but it's still a title. We are 31-times league winners for a reason you know. For Barca maybe it's more significant for them.

An important win for us.. great comeback for kaka... although at the beginning really tough to crush zaragoza defender and their great keeper...

Very scrappy game. Zaragoza were very aggressive in midfield. But a great finish from Kaka. About time he shows what he can do smile.gif

Well.. we still behind barca...
anyway... i can rate real madrid performance in previous match is about 60/100 ..

real madrid need to improve in passing and midfielder need to be more agressive to attack...

I still love our Galactico team

Meltzelder off, hope Adan can make the bench. BTW, Canales scored a cracker against Villareal, I think he's ready to be Madrid's next no 7. hehe~

Haha, I never said anybody that takes the no 7 should carry Raul's legacy, what I'm saying is, he can be the next legend here in Madrid. heheh~

haha.. ic, so my bad for misunderstood ur statement.. biggrin.gif
obviously he has potentials to become one of legends for RM. the most important things is, we have to give him spaces to prove himself.
The problem is, where would he play next season? with kaka, VDV, Benz, CR9, Higuan and maybe another winger/attacking player coming soon?
