Hey guys, did anyone else notices that sound quality on iPhone's iPod does no provide as well as iPod? I try this on my friend 1st gen of iPod with same headphone and it quite disappointed coz my iPhone 3G' sound quality cant compare with him's iPod. Got any solution on it?

** My friend's iPod don hav EQ setting while i try the EQ setting in my iPhone also no help..

Actually the main purpose i buy iPhone bcoz of my friend who the owner of the iPod. He say Apple produce is quite good in sound quality and i decide to buy a iPhone coz i also got plan to change my mobile.

I am a music lover and i quite pay attention on the sound quality when i listen on the music.

Is that the sound quality will be increase when i convert to high kbps? Coz as i noe, if the original mp3 file that i have is in lower kbps, that is no use to convert in high kbps coz it might no change the quality.

Actually i got think to make the post in this topic but most of the question which other former post is relater the SERIOUS problem which need you help. My case is no related with it. I just want to ask any suggestion or solution to improve the sound quality for my iPhone such like install 3rd party application or buy any brand of headphone and etc.

I don think i will get more suggestion if i post my case in you topic but hopefully other former will leave their suggestion over here since its already happen that my topic already merged to you topic.

haha, finally got a friend have same case with me
as nokia mention, different iphone will come with different encoding format based on the different factory.

I also have done some research on other website, some other people say this problem no happen in their iphone. May be we can sell our iphone and buy other new set and try

Based on my personal research, the maximum sec u can use for the ringtone is 40 sec

Yup. Jus less a bit than 40 sec. It is because last time i cut the song buy myself it around 40 sec, and convert it manually and its work in my iphone.
