QUOTE(euronymous @ Sep 8 2009, 11:53 AM) It could be like the Emirates. Around 60K size stadium not as much as the san siro though. After the completion we wont get to see double milan ultras at the san siro anymore for inter home games On other news, Sneijder could be even ready to play for Holland against Scotland. Fortunate enough, his injury isnt as bad as we thought it would be, |

Its done
New Stadium In 2014 For Inter - President Massimo Moratti http://goal.com/en/news/10/italy/2009/09/0...massimo-moratti The president has revealed that his team will leave the San Siro for a new stadium in 2014... QUOTE Plans are under way for a 65,000-seat stadium that will be the new home of Inter, according to its President Massimo Moratti. Moratti said that the team will not extend its contract with San Siro officials, and hopes that the new stadium will be ready by 2014, according to Virgilio Sport. The stadium will be situated in Pero, north-east of Milan, near where a new proposed train line will be running to and from. The new home is expected to cost approximately €400million, with Moratti not sparing any expense in providing a quality experience for the paying patron. Everything from personalised seats for members to hand-held screens, showing replays and goals will be available for those who come to Inter matches. As for the name, Moratti hints that the stadium will honour Nerazzurri Legend Giacinto Facchetti, as he is the symbol of the club. So em.. what about the heated seats during winter aye? with hand-held screens. awesome. But i think i read somewhere you have to pay a little extra for it. And i do not think the curva nord or ultras needs any of it, more cater towards family groups. Here we come Stadio Giacinto Facchetti Other news... QUOTE(euronymous @ Sep 11 2009, 03:06 PM) Somehow i prefer the name Meazza... Somehow it sounded 'fat and big'... Yep a tribute indeed. One of the greatest Inter legends ever. But Fachetti is legend... A fitting tribute to the great man.. Inter vs Parma preview from Football Italia Anyway for the Parma game. Match time will be 15:00 in Italy which is 21:00 here. Checked with astro that they will be showing live telecast channel 811 at 9.00 pm tomorrow. Be sure to check it out Mourinho's squad for Inter v Parma Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 21 Paolo Orlandoni. Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Lucio, 13 Maicon, 25 Walter Samuel, 26 Cristian Chivu, 39 Davide Santon. Midfielders: 7 Ricardo Quaresma, 8 Thiago Motta, 10 Wesley Sneijder, 11 Sulley Muntari, 14 Patrick Vieira, 15 René Krhin. Strikers: 9 Samuel Eto'o, 18 David Suazo, 22 Diego Milito, 45 Mario Balotelli. My prediction is that Cesar will be starting of course, with Maicon, Santon , Chivu(Samuel or Cordoba could feature too) and Lucio in the defence. Motta, Vieira and maybe Zanetti on the right of midfield(could be even Krhin or Muntari but Muntari isnt favoured though with him fasting) Sneijder of course taking up the attacking midfield role with Milito and Eto'o gearing up front. Mancini isnt in the list though. Stankovic came down with a flu. This post has been edited by visionary1993: Sep 13 2009, 01:33 AM |

QUOTE(earthdome @ Sep 13 2009, 10:55 PM) lol. I loled right there. Its rare to see him missed that kind of chance but he was the man of the match for me for inter. He brought on his pace and crosses brightly in the 2nd half and assisted in both of the goals. Milito was up for questioning really. He fell down like dominoes and expecting the referee to buy it. Apart from his great finishing for the goal, he really didnt do that much. Eto;s's goal was superb really. Just what we needed when we thought it would be a draw game. Sneijder also did his part abit with all those mis-hits. Viera did his role mildly since he hold the midfield. Our defence was unthreaten for almost 80 minutes of the game except some miscommunication from Lucio, Samuel and Cesar. Zanetti was his usual self even at the age of 36. His runs were still there and that produced some spark in the midfield. Maicon was only a close 2nd to Balotelli imo. Lets just hope he's alright after all the knocks. Overall, it was an average game to say the least for inter. Didnt had the creativity and finishing in the 1st half. |

QUOTE Just before the break there were jeers from the home fans, which infuriated Douglas Maicon. The Brazilian screamed at the ultras and urged them to support the side during difficult times, hurling abuse straight back at them. Mourinho also seemed angry and walked off towards the locker room before the half-time whistle. -fotball-italia.net- what was it about? didn't watch the game ler... |

QUOTE(euronymous @ Sep 14 2009, 11:21 AM) hehehe. He's actually furious at the fans jeering Milito's failed passing to him. And im abit to the fans really. Milito's passing was really dreadful. But Maicon's actions really spark the inter fans to support the team harder so credits really to him. He did his usual self yesterday making the runs even with a knock to his knee. He even managed to laugh at Lucio and Panucci's confrontation later on in the 2nd half. He's fast becoming my favourite player after Zanetti QUOTE Mourinho also seemed angry and walked off towards the locker room before the half-time whistle. He really did walk off almost on the 45th minute. Didnt even bother to watch the remaining 2 minutes. Mourinho has name his 22-player squad for the match against Barca.
Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 21 Paolo Orlandoni. Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 4 Javier Zanetti, 6 Lucio, 13 Maicon, 25 Walter Samuel, 26 Cristian Chivu, 39 Davide Santon. Midfielders: 5 Dejan Stankovic, 7 Ricardo Quaresma, 8 Thiago Motta, 10 Wesley Sneijder, 11 Sulley Muntari, 14 Patrick Vieira, 15 René Krhin, 19 Esteban Cambiasso. Strikers: 9 Samuel Eto'o, 18 David Suazo, 22 Diego Milito, 45 Mario Balotelli. And not surprisingly he had leaked most of his starting 11 against Barcelona tonight. Julio Cesar, Maicon, Lucio, Walter Samuel, Cristian Chivu, Javier Zanetti, Stankovic (or Muntari), Thiago Motta, Wesley Sneijder, Samuel Eto’o, and Diego Milito. Note that Stankovic or Muntari will get the nod ahead of the other but i have a feeling Stanko will get pick ahead of Muntari since Muntari is also fasting right now. Deki has played this type of position against Milan a fortnight ago and i believe he will do well considering his experience. But there are also reports from Gazetta stating the opposite. So its anyones guess really. Tonight's(or much more to a tomorrow morning) match will be televised live either channel 812 or 813(sorry i forgot, lol) at 2.45 pm. Also do note that Cambiasso was also chosen for this match. ![]() This post has been edited by visionary1993: Sep 16 2009, 02:49 PM |
