I would like to congratulate Motta for his goal. He did well IMO. Unfortunately he was off injured in the game.

Now Inter have Motta, Dejan, and Sneijder who are all really dangerous at long shooting.

great game btw last night... 4-0 ... looks like inter would steam roll to the scudetto again this year..
i only hope they would play like that in the champions league also this year...

our squad looks complete and ready for the league and UCL. Great game by Inter. We proved the doubters wrong about their title credentials.

It was risky to went on with Sneijder given he had a day practice with the team but it paid off well. Superb work by the two former Genoa-n players and Motta to score the first. Brilliant play on the right to set-up Etoo's run through that gave away the penalty. Gattuso and most of the milan players not had the best of days and we capitalize on that. Deki top it all off with a nice scorcher for one of the best derby win for Inter.

wow...inter did impress me last night. They look ' different' than last season inter. Oso beautiful play and pass
(1st goal for example)... BTW gattuso need to retire IMO lol..

exactly, even though we draw with Bari last week, the game against them also showed beautiful passing unlike last season. I think its a good omen letting off Ibrahimovic and getting Milito, Motta, Eto'o, Lucio and now Sneijder. This could be the season i see Il Capitano lifting the UCL perhaps?

inter has a very strong squad now....
every department is soo strong...right now....wif addition of lucio the defence is ...power house....and nuff said on eto and sneijder...thier superb...all along

Santon took out Ronaldo last season with ease and he's only 19 years old. I believe he has the potential to go further than maxwell even could be one of the best full-back for Italy in the coming years or next world cup after 2010.

hi guys

been a fan of Inter for about 10+ years now

super result over the weekend...

the team is now more compact and creative compared to last year where most plays will develop into "hit the long ball and hope for ibra to do something with it"...

with ibra's departure and all those delicious new arrivals , mourinho is shaping the team to become something he has envisioned...

the team is playing more one-touch football and all the players are getting involved in play...i believe mourinho is really shaping the team to be more competitive in champions league

in CL previous years, we were too one-dimensional with ibra on the team and english, spanish teams dealt with us pretty comfortably, i believe with the extra dimensions in attack (pace from etoo, sneijder, motta's more productive passes) our plays will be more unpredictable...

A bit of analysis on the new players:

Sneijder

i like his pace and his ability to launch balls quickly...something that we need to cure the lack of pace and movement last year which was shown painfully in our CL exit...he is something like a trequartista but i do appreciate that he can also press opponents

Lucio

i believe he was bought so that we can push our defenders up more instead of sitting too deep at our end...he is very good with the ball on feet, so he will be able to carry balls out more effectively, one thing though, he might be a bit prone to mistakes sometimes.

Etoo

whats not to like about this guy? sure, he misses sitters once in a while but he brings so much more to the team, the runs behind defenders, his pace and power which is something we lack so much last year...i'm predicting much more penalties this year

Milito

he is not dubbed as il principe (the prince) for nothing, he is a very good goal poacher and he's also very good at the assist...but the most important asset of all is his movement on the pitch which is superb....for all of ibra's talents, he was too much of a primadonna and his movement to bring in his teammates was not very good....

Motta

a bit injury prone i think but he is a very good passer of the ball, very confident and a good selection of short and long passes and like sneijder, he has wonderful accuracy...again this will help improve the team's movements and quicken up play...

and of course they still need time to gel...

this result really surprised me. AC Milan must be shell shocked by this lost to Inter. They didnt reinforce their squad compared to Inter, they only few players such as Huntelaar

Still, Inter looks good for the title as well as Juve with Diego on form
