hi guys

been a fan of Inter for about 10+ years now

super result over the weekend... biggrin.gif

the team is now more compact and creative compared to last year where most plays will develop into "hit the long ball and hope for ibra to do something with it"...

with ibra's departure and all those delicious new arrivals drool.gif , mourinho is shaping the team to become something he has envisioned...

the team is playing more one-touch football and all the players are getting involved in play...i believe mourinho is really shaping the team to be more competitive in champions league

in CL previous years, we were too one-dimensional with ibra on the team and english, spanish teams dealt with us pretty comfortably, i believe with the extra dimensions in attack (pace from etoo, sneijder, motta's more productive passes) our plays will be more unpredictable...

A bit of analysis on the new players:

Sneijder

i like his pace and his ability to launch balls quickly...something that we need to cure the lack of pace and movement last year which was shown painfully in our CL exit...he is something like a trequartista but i do appreciate that he can also press opponents

Lucio

i believe he was bought so that we can push our defenders up more instead of sitting too deep at our end...he is very good with the ball on feet, so he will be able to carry balls out more effectively, one thing though, he might be a bit prone to mistakes sometimes.

Etoo

whats not to like about this guy? sure, he misses sitters once in a while biggrin.gif but he brings so much more to the team, the runs behind defenders, his pace and power which is something we lack so much last year...i'm predicting much more penalties this year drool.gif

Milito

he is not dubbed as il principe (the prince) for nothing, he is a very good goal poacher and he's also very good at the assist...but the most important asset of all is his movement on the pitch which is superb....for all of ibra's talents, he was too much of a primadonna and his movement to bring in his teammates was not very good....

Motta

a bit injury prone i think but he is a very good passer of the ball, very confident and a good selection of short and long passes and like sneijder, he has wonderful accuracy...again this will help improve the team's movements and quicken up play...

and of course they still need time to gel...

pandev played great this last few games smile.gif

however, etoo is a bit off i think bcos he is just coming back...

the team played well but the midfield remains an issue especially for the CL where chelsea have such a strong MF

if deki comes back, i would prefer a sneijder-deki-cambiasso (sneijder as AM and deki with cambi as CM) MF or even include mariga in there (he seems to be much more secure compared to muntari)

playing three strikers alternating like in the cagliari game, pandev deeper, eto wings and milito as centre foward and alternating them constantly..

oh my goodness....this is unbelievable...

of all my years watching inter, i have never seen them played so incredibly..

really kudos to mourinho and the superb players....they have formed a team capable of winning the champs league...

mourinho tactics was absolutely amazing, the player movements was superb and milito especially pulled the defenders everywhere and allowed run-ins from the midfield....

but it seems as though the players was tired at the end as they allowed barca to push their back line more and allowed xavi to control play...

and frankly, stopping Xavi will be the key at camp nou, all their players depend on him as the deep laying playmaker, Messi will be much less effective if he is not playing up to mark or is marked out of the game...

Forza Inter!!

Congrats to Inter.. Eventhough there is still the second leg to go, Inter are now in poll position  thumbup.gif

I am a Juve fan, and eventhough there is bad blood between both clubs, Inter has so far done Italian Football proud. I wish that they can go all the way and win it. Salvage some pride for Italy. For the good of Italian football I will support Inter to win the CL  nod.gif

Thanks bro...

yeah, italian football have gone down the drain somewhat after calciopoli and doesnt have the same respect it garnered last time....i will support italian teams in european competitions as well..

inter needs to win it as well so that germany doesnt overtake italy as 3rd place country in UEFA coeffecient (italy will lose the 4th place spot for CL) but i think it will happen as hamburg and wolfsburg is in europa league latter stages and Bayern possibly going to the final cry.gif

hope that inter at least defeat bayern if both reach finals to show them whose the better league..kekekekke...

I think no need contact number ler...just show up there and watch the match biggrin.gif

can't wait....countdown 1 day +...hehehehe...

i believe mourinho will use his trusted 4-2-3-1 formation like this :

Cesar

Maicon Lucio Samuel Zanetti

Cambiasso Stankovic

Eto'o Sneijder Pandev/Balo

Milito

personally i would choose pandev over balo as we need to have the wing fowards push the full-backs all the way...

hopefully maicon and zanetti can stop altintop and robben....

robben especially needs to be double-teamed by zanetti and cambi/stanko...altintop by the other two..

sneijder will move in front and spread play to bypass swein and van bommel...

and of course for milito to have another great match and score those goals for us !

I never thought I will see the day when Il Capitano will lift the big-ears cup...

The emotions was simply tremendous when i saw Capitano lifting it...there is no one that deserves this trophy more than him

For 15 years, he ran and ran and ran some more for the black and blue jersey and not ONCE did he give up no matter how many times he fell, no matter how many people was against inter, no matter how difficult it was to remain, no matter how many times inter was ridiculed in europe....

I have been a fan of the Nerrazzuri for more than 10 years, and every single year i dream of Zanetti lifting the european cup....

I will never forget you Il Grande Capitano

A true man, a true hero, a true NERAZZURI

Inter have beaten the champions of England, Spain and Germany to be crowned more than deserved CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE!

For me personally, I have been a fan for more than 10 years and frankly, I thank Mourinho but he leaving is not a big problem for me, for me the only thing that matters is F.C Internazionale Milano

We will show Europe that even without Mourinho, we can challenge for the European Cup

Forza Zanetti, Forza Moratti, Forza INTER!!!!

Pazza Inter Amala !
